Reincarnated

A/N: I get a lot of new readers for this story, but just a heads up, this story is a bit of a mess. I wrote this in 8th grade, and I've been working to remake it on and off since then. I really want to do this story justice and be able to add much more to it, but the concept is one that you have to fully dedicate yourself to.

I hope you enjoy this story, and I hope that one day I can give you a new and improved version of this story. One that may be a bit more digestible, lmao.

Nonetheless, I do appreciate the support of this story and everyone who has given it a chance. I've kept it up for this long because of that reason, and I love the fact that I have something to look back on and see how far my writing has come.

Reincarnation. The rebirth of a new body, a person or animal in whom a particular soul is believed to have been reborn.

Reincarnation refers to the belief that an aspect of every human being continues to exist after death, this aspect may be the soul or mind or consciousness or something transcendent which is Reborn in an interconnected cycle of existence; the transmigration belief varies by what many can say religion.

People say reincarnation is a religious belief but this is not about religion. I am not here to force you to believe in such things.

Once there was a girl, she had a difficult life. She once lived with her mother but her mother went crazy after having nightmares about killing her. She knew her mother loved her but she didn’t know why her mother had such dreams of her.

After her mother was put into a mental institution she went to live with her father. Everyone in her father’s neighborhood loved him but they didn’t see the real the monster he was until one fateful night.

One night when the girl was done doing her chores her father came home drunk. He was supposed to be working but he didn’t that night. She was scared, nothing good ever comes happened when he was drunk. He would always beat her even when he wasn’t like that.

The only reason she was scared this time was that the beatings were worse when he was intoxicated and this time he was blackout drunk. He walked through the door and closed it behind him.

He was staggering, he couldn’t walk in a straight line even if he wanted to. She was shaking with fear. She didn’t know what to do when he was like this. If she ran the beating would be worse.

He walked up to her, his alcoholic scent burning her nose hairs. She was ready to run but he slapped her. She stood there frozen in terror. From the slap, she knew this wasn’t gonna be a regular beating. She tried to run but he pulled her hair and began to punch her.

He would punch, kick, slap, throw and even cut her. He did this for hours until he passed out. Even though she was in pain she still got up and grabbed his phone. She dialed 911 and talked to the operator quietly.

“911 what’s your emergency?” He asked.

“My father…. He beat and stabbed me” She said through tears.

“Ok, mam what is your address, our people are on their way.” he says.

She gave them the address and the operator told her to stay on the phone.

“Miss how old are you?” The operator asked.

“I’m 10 years old.” She answered.

The cops arrived and the father awoken. He was beyond upset that his daughter called the cops. He threatened to kill her but she was struggling to keep her eyes open.

She was rushed to the hospital and they stitched her up. A few days later she was put into the system and would eventually get adopted.

That girl was me. My name was Nova Angelina Lee and this is my story.
