The Heart of a Dragon

The young knight who lives in a far away place, finds himself standing in from of his Queen.

My Queen, I am your humble servant, Sir Tisdale, at your service my Queen..

Yes, Sir Tisdale, you have been summoned here for a very special task. Your fighting skills are unmatched across my kingdom. See we are having a problem with a dragon. He has been terrorizing my people, killing and eating the animals and also burning our crops. This must stop, Sir Tisdale. Your Queen wants you to hunt down this dragon and bring me it's head!

Yes my Queen. I will ask around to see if anyone knows where the dragon is, find it and kill him.

With a wave of her hand the Queen dismisses Sir Tisdale. He turns around to find a number of knights asking to join him in his search to kill the dragon. Sir Tisdale tells them to meet him at the local tavern, then he will talk to them.

As Sir Tisdale walks out of the throne room he gets a sense that something is not right with his mission. Shaking his head, Sir Tisdale keeps walking until he finds the tavern. He finds himself in a very dark and gloomy place.

Finding a table in the back Sir Tisdale tells the serving wench to get him a mug of ale and a serving of there best meat .

Tell the cook to just place it on the fire for a few minutes on each side and put it on a plate. Bloody as can be but a little warm also.

The serving wench does as told looking at him with dread in her eyes. There is something different about this man but she can not place what it may be. She is scared of him but also curious about who he may be and what he is doing here.
