Chapter 1
Echo's POV
Hello, my name is Echo Gray. I'm nineteen Years old. I'm a werewolf. An Alpha to be exact next in line to take my father's place when he retires. In my wolf form I have winter white fur with gold streaks on my ears and has blue all around the eyes and the coldest gray eyes that go great with my winter cold attitude that everybody sees.
When I go to highschool with humans they call me "Winter's Queen" and "Heartless." They call me names to see who can piss me off the most, here's a spoiler nobody wins the game. Anyway i only go out in my wolf form when it's raining or snowing which is almost every month because our weather is fucked up. You see it's always raining and if it gets cold then it snows, awesome right? Well, I like it, correction I like the rain the snow I don't really care for but... I can stand it if I have too.
But people rarely even see me even if their looking real hard or have the best senses no one can find me. I come out when I want to and still I beat them cause my father trained me better than any other person could do. And I am grateful even if I don't show it.
Anyway it's time for school, great! Anyway I wear a black shirt with the Cheshire cat on it saying "We're all mad here" and some black leather jeans with some black combat boots. Then I put on my back pack and walk to school which was like fifteen minutes away. I don't mind walking I get to see all the pretty flowers and hownthe light shines through the trees. Beautiful.
As soon as I get in those doors their eyes are on me. I hate when this happens. I feel like I'm someone in the circus and their eyes are all on me. But i also have my moments when I love the spotlight and I'll happily perform, correction I will not perform for them I always perform only for one person and he's dead. So I perform for myself now. And I'm perfectly fine with that.
I raised my eyebrow looking at everyone and everyone turns their head knwing the drill. This always happens so I started raising my eyebrow and would growl at everyone and they would piss their pants. Cause to them I'm a wolf waiting for someone to close so I can snap their neck off. Which I could do... But I won't cause I don't like to kill them it's only a waste of time.
Besides I'm not going to break my mask for jerks who bet on who can piss me off first.
As I go to class I noticed everyone was talking about a new transfer student. Great another human in this all ready to crowded school. Just fucking great, Echo thought as she entered he classroom taking a seat in th back like usual, only noticing the guy next to me staring. That's when it hits me, his scent, which smelt like something spicy and sweet all in one, i just couldn't put my finger on it.
He turned to me smirking, making me scowl." Hey my name is Jax." I said nothing, which caused him to frown, i just made my mate frown and i feel shitty now, I growled in my head. "This is the part where you say your name." I glare at him and speak in a frosty tone I use on everyone. " Echo gray."
He smirked and I looked him over. He was tall, taller than me then again everyone is Taller than me, he was lean and had piercing green eyes much more vibrant than my grey ones that were icy cold. He had spikey bronze hair that looked really soft, he was cute. And he was mine.
He got close to my ear and whispered slowly " I sure am lucky to have a adorable mate like you kitten." He then winked and sat back in his seat. Leaving me with a pink face which he noticed and chuckled. But everyone else noticed too and gasped. I glare at all of them and they turn their heads to the teacher who just walked in. I put on scowl and glare at Jax who was staring at me smirking.
