Rules and Roses

It all started when I went to my local coffee shop, it was noon and that is when I saw him walk in. I stared constantly and he looked over to me and smiled, I instantly smiled back I felt my heart glow.

I wasn’t even embarrassed that he caught me staring. He came over to me and we talked for hours. But that was all a dream. I decided to go to the same local coffee shop and I ordered my usual a hazelnut coffee with extra creamer and then it happened.

I saw him and realized it wasn’t all in my head. He looked as confused as I did when he saw me. We didn’t smile but he did come over to me and we stared at each other in shock not as love struck as we did in the dream. But then I realized that it was not just a dream I had, it was a vision.

We talked and it felt like eternities. He soon bought himself a drink after asking me if I wanted a refill which I politely answered no.

It soon got late and he asked to take me home. That night was the night of my life. The next morning I woke up late and rushed to get ready for work.

My phone rang, it was my best friend Ellie, but I couldn’t answer since I was in such a rush. When I got to work my boss asked “where is my coffee” this was the first time I have ever forgot her coffee.

So I said to her “I am so sorry I woke up late and forgot all about coffee I promise this will never happen again”she seemed fine with it, maybe a little bit upset.

I asked if she wanted me to go get her a coffee, she said “I will excuse you this time but you need to start waking up and setting your alarm”.

I left to go to the coffee shop and when I got there I saw him with his beautiful blue eyes and brown hair. We talked as I was getting me and my boss some coffee. When I had to go he said to me “meet me back here at 8:00” all I could do was smile and blush.
