Prologue
My name is Nadeida ′ Nadeeda’. My twin sister is Safiya.
We live and work with our parents who are paleontologists. Digging in search of old artifacts and myths. They work on the ancient languages, and treasures of old, and they work on our knowledge of our ancestor’s ancient history.
We’re homeschooled by our parents and their other crew members. We never live too long in one area or place. Not when there’s so much to still be found.
Though sometimes it gets a little hard. We always have each other, our stories, and books.
My sister and I are a quarter Arabic, Greek, Roman and Norwegian. So we’ve got a lot of ancient stories up our sleeve about our ancestor’s gods, and goddesses.
But what we never expected all the stories we’ve grown up hearing to be as true a are parents make them seem.
But then again, it’s life, nothing is ever as it seems. A plan never goes as planned.
And sometimes you just need to be doused in the face by the slobber and spit of a three-headed dog, and a giant six-headed snake, or is it a lizard???
Maybe I need to consult with my new friends.
