I don’t understand why they can’t just talk to each other though. He obviously hates his dad too. They need to talk more or something and she needs to feel as he is on her side. "Congratulations on the new addition to your family! I just had my second as well and your books have been getting me through this newborn phase :) I read BM in 4 days and immediately came here to gobble up the rest of your work. I didn’t expect to become so invested in Lyn and Gaius but my heart needs more. Gaius turned out to be a very complex character and I am thoroughly impressed with his patience and resilience dealing with Lyn and his/her family. I knew from the beginning that Lyn would have a difficult time adjusting to the pack and actually saw a lot of my own life experiences dealing with my in laws (different cultures). I fought them a lot in the beginning like she, and ended up making my life a lot harder. I was getting frustrated because although what Vitor did was unforgivable, she was projecting her anger towards her mate despite basically having custody of her family and Gaius doing everything he could to mitigate her shit attitude. I don’t feel like his family was asking for too much from her and I sincerely hope that she comes around to Gaius after finding out what he did for her. "
