The Dreamer
A short little poem I came up with.
Do you want to know a story?
About a girl who dreams?
She dreams the biggest dreams,
With wishes that they could be,
Just exactly what they seem.
She keeps her dreams within her,
With the hope that one day they will shine.
Even with those dreams of a winner
She's still never "Just Fine."
She wishes that she could explain,
Her simple feelings when she's bliss.
She so wishes she could explain,
So others could cherish.
But she's scared of conversation,
Afraid of people's judging eyes,
To let them know her beautiful temptation,
And her unheard desires.
Because of that, the world will never know,
How beautiful her heart is,
Or How beautiful the colours are that she will never show...
