I'm writing this journal in the hopes that it will bring some sense to the events of today and perhaps the near future.
I recently got a strange occult book from a garage sale, from a family who was happy to give it to me, and yet one of the kids nearby said, under her breath, that she felt sorry for me.
Most of the pages were blank, save for one, which gave information as to a trio of immortals who rule the universe. Time, at the dawn of man, became father to two sons- Grim, or death, and the Sandman, sleep.
It also gave information as to their powers and ability to become aggravated. The Sandman is weakest, Father Time least easily annoyed, and Grim both most powerful and most likely to kill you at your first offense.
I guess there will be more, because the book has an extensive table of contents.
