Brotherly Love FanFiction
Claim: I’m doing a fanfiction on the movie Brotherly Love because I feel like Chris deserved another chance and that he shouldn’t have went to jail. Chris shot June because he was angry and I feel the movie would’ve had a better ending if Jackie and Chris got to be together because you were able to tell that Chris really liked Jackie, he treated her right, and everybody deserves a 2nd chance in my opinion. So because of this I’m changing the scene where Chris shot June and went to jail and making it so that Jackie stops it all and ends up getting to raise their baby with Chris by her side.
“I gotta excuse myself for a minute,” Chris whispers in Jackie’s ear with some suspicion.
“Okay,” Jackie replies, sounding a little worried. (Jackie follows Chris outside).
“Yo June,” Chris exclaims with anger in his voice.
“Yo”, June responds with a confused face.
“So what, you thought I wasn’t gonna find out you was the one who killed my cousin!” Chris snaps at June as he pulls out his gun.
“Chris please!” Jackie screams out of nowhere.
Chris’s plan is ruined, “Jackie, man, just go home, yo brother should of never killed my cousin, you expect me to just let that slide, nah man f*** all that” Chris says sounding so pissed off and frustrated.
While Chris was giving Jackie his little speech and all of this was happening, June was able to sneak into his car, take out his gun, and almost end Chris’s life but Jackie stopped him.
“June, please, why y’all gotta be against each other?” Jackie sobs, while balling her eyes out.
“That’s just how it is, you might as well say goodbye to yo brother.” Chris says as he raises his gun. Jackie runs up, takes the gun out of Chris’s hand and barely shoots him. So much fear was running through her body and her heartbeat was at 100. So many thoughts were going through her head.
“What did I just do? I’m gonna go to jail, ohhh my god Junee we need to take him to the hospital!!” Jackie screams
“Alright, damn, but you gotta chill out, it’s gonna be okay, you was just protecting me and ya self,” June’s words somewhat calm Jackie down. June quickly picks Chris up, holding him like a baby, while Jackie hurries to open the back door, help put Chris in the car and run to the passenger seat. After the 10 minute drive to the hospital that felt like an hour, they rush into the emergency room and talk their way into making the doctors treat him immediately.
While June and Jackie are waiting Jackie decides to end the silence and break some nerve wracking news.
“June” Jackie says very sternly.
“Yo” June replies in a very relaxed tone.
“I gotta tell you something else about Chris but you gotta promise me you not gone freak out or do nothing crazy,” Jackie exclaimed.
“What he did now?” June says rolling his eyes, beginning to get hyped up.
¨June, I-Iḿ pregnant¨ Jackie mumbles, looking down, with embarrassment. June was quiet, Jackie could tell he was disappointed. All he did was stare her down. Figuring out what to say was such a hard decision.
¨Girl bye, itś probably just a false alarm,” June was trying so hard to deny the truth.
¨No June, I took a pregnancy test last night and Chris is the father whether you like it or not,¨ Jackie said with a whole lot of attitude.
¨Alrighttt, you gone chill out with that tone. Now tell me how the hell you gone raise this baby by ya self, cuz Chris most definitely not gonna be involved.¨
“Watchu mean Chris not gone be involved. I wanna know what you think I look like not allowing Chris to see his child.” Jackie responded.
“Somebody like Chris don’t need to be around no baby” June said sounding like he was ready to be done with this conversation.
“Just because Chris don’t like you don’t mean that he doesn’t deserve to be in his child’s life, He ain’t did nothing but treat me right and just because y’all don’t get along, it doesn’t change the fact that I’m happy with him. Everybody deserves another chance, and until he do me wrong again, that’s what ima give him” Jackie says as she walks up to the desk to see how he’s doing and if it would be possible for her to go check on him. The receptionist gives her the clear and she walks in to check up on Chris.
“Hey,” Jackie says with her head down as she starts to walk up to the chair next to his hospital bed.
“Wassup,” Chris replies.
“Chris I don’t know what to do,” Jackie says while she starts to break down and bust out crying.
“Jackie please just give me one more chance,” Chris begs.
“Chris how do I know you’re not gonna try to kill June, you really lost all of my trust yesterday,” Jackie says.
“Come on Jackie, can we please just forget all of that, I really wanna be with you, you special, and if putting me and June putting our differences behind us is what it’s gone take then I guess that’s what ima do, just please let me try one more time,” Chris pleads.
“Chris I really wanna believe you but something like that is the typa thing that takes a good little minute to get over so I honestly don’t know,” Jackie says.
“Jackie what do I gotta do,” Chris pauses and just gazes at Jackie, “How bout this, you give me one week to show you that I can really forget everything that happened with June and you just give me a chance and if not I’ll leave you alone.”
Jackie takes a huge breath and hesitates to say, “Okay but if you bring any kinda tension it’s over”
“Say dat.. ima get you back,” Chris say with hope in his voice
“It’s one more thing tho,” Jackie anxiously replies.
“What’s that?” Chris asks.
“Chris… I’m pregnant,” Jackie hesitates.
“You foreal? We having a baby?” Jackie has never heard Chris sound so scared in her life.
“Yes Chris,” Jackie whispers.
“Jackie I don’t think I’m ready to be a dad,” Chris says lowly.
“Chris you’re gonna be a great father but you gotta promise me you gone stick by my side cuz I can’t do this alone,” Jackie vented.
“Okay Baby, we gone raise this kid and get through it all, together,” Chris reassures Jackie. Jackie nods her head back and they just sit there in silence.
2 years later Jackie and Chris are still going strong with their beautiful baby, Naiomi. June and Chris are completely cool with each other and everything’s going good...for now at least.
