"Why this masterpiece hasn’t gotten more reviews / attention yet baffles me. I’ve binge read straight through it. It’s highly addictive, to say the least. A quite dark and action packed novel, full of secrets and mystery. This one is movie material. The visuals and emotions projected into your mind are so powerful, it leaves you shaking. I am actually surprised to have stumbled across this gem on Inkitt. It’ll get published, rather sooner than later. Aurelia created this incredibly resilient, strong and unique character, Vanessa Vail. She’s the hands-on type, a true fighter, in so many ways. When you think she can’t take it anymore, she proves you wrong and gets up once more. Following her journey turns out to be.. a rollercoaster ride, a true challenge of sorts. But I couldn’t stop, even if I wanted to. Be warned, this is nothing for the lighthearted. It is dark indeed. There’s plenty of bloodshed, violence, trauma, but also so much more. Crazy emotional range, you’ll experience the highest highs and lowest lows. I have no other words for the magnificent work the author has done here. My attention was drawn in right from the start and never left. There are some spelling situations, missing letters, but nothing major you’d stumble upon. Also no trigger warnings, so be ware. "
