Together Again....

"Good Morning, the time now is 6 a.m and the weather is 78° on this beautiful Monday morning. If your a student your going to be going back to school today."

I reach over and turn off my alarm clock, ugh it's to early. I force myself out of bed and into the shower. Now that I'm feeling better, cause let's face it a nice hot shower cures everything, I get dressed and head down stairs.

" Well hello sunshine, ready for high school?" My brother Taylor asked.

"Do I have a choice?" I respond and he chuckles, " We leave in ten we gotta pick up Kylee and Brett so be ready." Kylee is my best friend and Brett is her brother a.k.a my brothers best friend. " Yes sir" I say. I grab me a banana and granola bar for breakfast and grab my back pack for school.

Pulling up to Kylee and Brett's house they are waiting outside. Brett drives as well but we decided carpooling was better. Taylor and Brett are Sophomores. Kylee gets in the backseat next to me.

" Morning bestie, you ready?"

" How are you so energetic?" I ask.

"We're high schoolers now. How are you not excited?"

" Maybe because its school?" OK, don't get me wrong, I love learning, I'm a straight A student; what I don't like is the drama that comes along with school."

"You will be fine you have me with you," Kylee says.

"Ya , Ya," is all I respond. We spend the rest of the car ride gossiping.

We just parked and we are walking on to campus. As we pass people Taylor and Brett are saying hi to people they know. We make it to our lockers and I open mine to put my stuff away. This is also decided our in between class hang out spot. Everyone is talking to each other and catching up from summer break. Taylor and I share alot of the same friends although we are not twins we are 11 months apart and have a strong brother /sister relationship. He is my protector. Sometimes that can be annoying. But at least he cares. Two boys I never met before walk up to Taylor. Apparently he is friends with the one Dixon and the other Tyler is Dixons little brother.

I whisper to Kylee, " OK school may not be to bad!" She smiles at me and gives me a wink. The bell rings and it's time for class. I walk to my first period class and walking through the door I realize Tyler is in my first period. My heart quickens and I'm not sure why I don't even know him. I take the seat next to him and pull out my notebook and pencil and prepare for class. First period is History which is not going to bore me at all. Hence the sarcasm. I look over to see Tyler is looking at me.

"Hello, we didn't officially get introduced. I'm Tyler Jones."

"Hi, I'm Arianna Shields." I smile at him. He smiles back. Before I could say anything else the teacher begins class. I've glanced Tyler's way a couple times and seen him glancing back. I can't explain the butterflies I get from him .

The day drags by the best part was lunch. Tyler is in Four of my classes, we made small talk for a couple minutes in each one. We are now sitting in Math our last class of the day and Mr.Smith just has us fill out some small test to see where we are on a learning level. When we finish he says we can talk quietly amongst ourselves. I think this maybe my favorite class. When the bell rings I say goodbye to Tyler and go to meet Taylor, Brett and Kylee by the lockers. On the ride home Kylee and I talk about our first day although I do not mention Tyler and the butterflies in front of Taylor I tell Kylee to call me later when we drop them off.

Back at home I go into the kitchen to help my mom prepare dinner and she ask about my day. I keep it brief not mentioning Tyler. We set the table and call my dad and Taylor to dinner. We are having spaghetti tonight one of my favorites. Food in general is my favorite. I have a small figure. I only weigh 100 lbs but I have the appetite of a grown man. Where it all goes we may never know. The four of us talk about our days and dinner goes smoothly.

I excuse myself to my room after dinner to call Kylee. "Hey, what's up?" Kylee answers.

"Why do I feel butterflies when I see Tyler hes so Hot and seems so nice."

"Because you have your first high school crush"

"But I just met him"

"So it's not like you have to jump into bed with him, be friends and see where it goes"

" Jump into bed seriously Kylee that's where your mind goes."

" I'm sorry is that to much for your virgin ears" she laughs.

"Maybe" I laugh too.

" So are you going to tell my brother you have a crush on him"

"I DO NOT!"

" Sure. Sure . Keep denying it"

We both laugh.

"Ok mom is calling me. I'll see you in the morning"

"Good night BEAUTIFUL"

" Good night GORGEOUS"

After hanging up with Kylee I go back to listening to Music until I fall asleep.
