Chapter 1
You fell from heaven
And I hated you
You looked too much like her
And I felt cheated
Our hatred was mutual
And my freedom denied
By some stupid little girl
Who I thought
Believed to be god
Yet as time passed
I fell for you
In more ways than one
I became protective
Fearful of anyone close
To you
Besides me
We found the fragments
Day by day
And I loved you more and more
Then I saw her again
Risen from the grave
And I became conflicted
I saw your sadness
But was helpless against her gaze
Then I realized
You loved me too
I was never able to confess it
Not as long as she lived
We collected the last piece
And knew you had to leave
You wouldn’t come back
You couldn’t come back
And so as you began to float into the sky
Back into the heaven from witch you came
You pulled down on my arm
And kissed my lips
With tears in your eyes
And you let go
And disappeared
So I promised myself
I would wait
Till you fell from heaven again
