2:31am
Damn.
I sigh in frustration and cover my head with my pillow to block out the sounds coming through my wall. My new neighbor moved in a week ago and apparently has a girlfriend.
A very LOUD girlfriend.
Minutes tick by and my anger builds in my chest. I sit up with a huff and pull my baggy joggers on before walking out of my room. I stomp across the living room and grab a pair of clean socks off of my pile of laundry that I have yet to put away. Throwing open the front door I walk out into the hall way.
Christ.
What the hell is he doing to her?
I grit my teeth and pound on the door as hard as I can.
Apt 311
Ugh.
There is silence behind the door now and I am about to walk away when it flings open revealing a very naked and very sweaty chest. A squeak of shock leaves my lips as I feel my face turn crimson.
“What?” the guy barks out.
My anger picks up again and I turn my head back to look him in the eyes.
“First of all..don’t be rude. Second..I know you just moved here and may not know that the walls are thin..PAPER thin. I can hear everything. Common politeness says ‘oh hey maybe my neighbor wants to sleep at 2 in the morning and doesn’t want to hear me fuck my girlfriend EVERY night’”
I am about to turn away when I remember the socks that I am holding in my grasp, I push them into his hand.
“Tell her to put these in her mouth or shut the fuck up.”
With that I turn around and stalk back to my apartment and slam the door. I let out a sigh and cover my mouth. I can’t believe I did that. I walk back to my room and collapse in bed still in shock at my own boldness. Silence fills the air for a moment before another sound reaches my ears.
My neighbor.
He is laughing.
