"Very engaging story! As someone else commented, there are some spelling and grammatical mistakes, many of which a writer might not catch unless they read it out loud. I hope there are either more chapters forthcoming or a sequel in the works. I want to know what happens next in Derek’s life. I suppose the homecoming scope of this book has run its course, so maybe there’s another story with these characters in the future 🙂"

"This was a nice story. Unfortunately, I found it lacking enough depth. It doesn't gel nicely for me. It seems to include things/people without enough background connection, it appears to be just thrown in. There was a lot to like about the story and I feel it has potential. I loved the characters and the personalities you were building when suddenly the story came to a crashing halt. 🤔"
