×Basic Highschool Life×

Highschool was something every parent feared, because if I'm being honest during graduation you'll be seeing about 5 pregnant girls walking across stage on graduation night. If you don't then they have already dropped out. Pretty sad If you ask me, but I don't judge mostly because I don't care. I know I'm such a caring person right. Note the sarcasm. Anyways here I am in front of the hell hole that is waiting for me to walk into its halls so it can trap me.

"You just gonna stand there or actually walk in?" I turn around to see my twin brother staring back at me with annoyance clear on his face.

"Shut up you asshat." Grumbling cuss words under my breath. I make my way towards the School doors.

"Hey Ana!" Stopping infront of the door I look behind me to see a ball hurdling in my direction. A squeak escapes my lips as I duck down just in time for the ball to hit the door and plop to the ground.

"Watch it idiot!" I yell as the jock who was laughing with his dumb friends. I huff in annoyance and push the door open. A sickening bang and groan accompanied the door.

"Oh my god I am so sorry!" Apologizing I close the door and reach out to help the person holding their nose.

"He's fine." Someone from behind me says. I turn to see Derek Knight leaning against one of the many rows of lockers in the hall.

"How do you know that. Your not the one that was smacked in the face with a metal door!" Derek rolls his eyes with a smirk on his face.

"That big mouth of your is gonna get you in trouble one day." Ignoring Derek I pull out a napkin from my bag and hand it to the person I hit who gladly took it as blood started dripping from their nose.

"Let me take you to the nurse office." The boy nods as droplets of blood hit the ground. I grab the boys bicep and lead him towards the nurse office with Derek not far behind.

"Aren't you suppose- god what the hell did you now Ana!" Mrs. Anne acusses as she takes the boy from my hands and leads him towards a chair.

"I sorta might have hit him with a metal door. Good thing is I didn't do it on purpose." Proud of my defensive speech I smile at Mrs. Anne who in return pushed me out of her office. Something about me causing more trouble if I'm in there.

"Not on purpose this time huh?" I spin around to see Derek leaning against a wall on his side staring at me with a amused smirk on his punchable face.

"Yeah this time. You on the other hand. Would hit on purpose." This seemed to of had only amused Derek more because the second the words left my mouth Derek chuckled.

"Whats so funny you don't think I'd do it?" Derek straightened up his posture his face blank once again.

"No" was the only thing Derek said before walking into the nurse office. I look around at my surrounding only to notice the halls were empty. Great I'm late to class without a nurse note. I make my towards first period when suddenly an alarm goes off. The nurse door swings open to reveal a panicked Mrs. Anne who saw me and dragged me into her office locking the door behind her. Now this must be something serious because I know Mrs. Anne would do anything to keep me out of her office or away from her in general.

"Whats going on?" I ask as I get myself to my feet and dust my pants off with my hands. In the process of being pulled into the nurse office Mrs. Anne had managed to make me trip and fall on my ass. That barely exsisted if I'm being honest. Which is very depressing now that I say this.

"Someone's on school territory with some weapon on them. That's what that alarm was." Explains Mrs. Anne as she resumes to to patch up the boys(who's name I still don't know) nose. I stand in the corner quietly as sounds of things being slammed up aganst the wall echoed into the room. Not how I imagined my Monday to begin but oh well I'm always the one bitching about something not happening at this dump. It was about time someone spiced things up. Oh god I am such a cruel person, I need to see a therapist.

The door handle starts go jiggle as someone slams on the door from outside. Me being the curious dimwit I am I make my way towards the door. My hand reaches out to push the curtain shielding the persons view from outside to the side when suddenly a hand clasped onto my wrist. I look up at the onwer of the hand to see Derek glaring at the door as if he knew who was outside.

"Get away from the door you idiots!" Hisses Mrs. Anne in a hushed whisper as she pulls Derek and I away from the door. The bangs on the door seemed to get louder when suddenly it stopped. Confused I look around at the people I'm in the room with when a growl was heard from outside the door then the sound of nails being dragged across wood was heard scaring Mrs. Anne who clutched onto the passed out boys arm. She must have drugged him to numb the pain.

Derek's body beside me stiffened confusing me as to why he seemed so hostile. The speaker in the room made a noise catching our attention.

"Students of Rigdewood High your parents have been contacted and will arrive shortly. All teacher please escort your students to the gym for a check up." The principles voice rang through the speakers before silence was the only thing heard.

"Derek carry Henry to the gym while I grab some equipment incase someone is hurt. Ana.....just don't touch anything." Frowning I grab my bag along with Henry's and open the door to see blood on the ground. I step out of the way and watch as Derek carry's Henry's unconscious to the gym. Mrs. Anne pushes past me in a hurry to get to the gyn to help any injured person. I turn to close the door but stop as something on the door catches my attention. I step to look at the door completely and gasp as I notice that someone carved a swirl onto the door with a name written in blood on top of it. Derek's name was written ontop of the swirl with blood. I took out my phone and snapped a picture of the carving before running off towards the gym still not fully feeling safe in the hall. Ome thing I did know for sure was that I would find out the what the carving meant and why Derek's name was on it written in blood.
