Chapter 1 THE RETURN
The faint noise of peeping and the captian coming over the speakers to alert us we would be landing shortly was my alarm clock.
I stretched (what I could) and sat upright as I turned to look out my window at my home that I Hadn’t returned to in 10 years was getting closer and closer by the minute.
A smile crept up my face as I saw the beautiful mountains “home sweet home” I whispered to myself. The gentle man next to me peeled over me out the window smiled and asked “how long have you been gone?”
I frowned as I thought of my reason for coming back as I said “10 years” he whistles through his teeth and says. “If I had been gone that long my mother would have whipped me.” I nodded to myself. “She probably would.”
