"Honestly I enjoyed this story very much! It's short and simple yet thoroughly entertaining. I liked how the author used elements from the movies but added her own twist to everything (I have never read the How to Train Your Dragon books). The chapter when Hiccup and Astrid begin dating is a bit too romantic for me personally, but it is clean and safe for all ages. I got to the last chapter and was actually sad the story was over. I think the author used her flashbacks correctly as they added to the story instead of taking away from it. I think anyone who is a fan of the How to Train Your Dragon movies will enjoy this story and want to read it again. I also liked the setting. I also liked that the author kept the characters true to how they are in the movies but not in a robotic way. I think the author did a good job. There were some grammatical errors in the story, but there were not enough errors to make the story hard to read. I would definitely recommend this story of you just want a quick read about some of your favorite characters!"
