Prologue
"I broke up with him today" sunmi said while sighing to herself.
"I knew it wouldn't last long. But why are you telling me?" The old lady questioned.
Sunmi sheepishly smiled at the old lady picking up some of the cabbage.
"Because I know you'll listen" she said
"Listen? I'm only here to sell cabbage and jewelry. If you aren't here to buy anything then shoo" she said
Sunmi's smile faded and she silently sat next to the old lady with her head down.
The old lady look at sunmi before sighing.
"Does he know" the old lady asked looking at her stomach.
"No" Sunmi replied
"I will take care of my baby alone. I don't need him" sunmi said smiling to herself.
The old lady grinned before coming serious again.
"Listen carefully, whenever you are in danger and your life flashes before your eyes, pray to the gods, pray with all your heart and they might answer" the old lady said.
Sunmi laughed at her before giving a brief nod.
Pulling out her wallet she asked the old lady for some cabbage before walking away.

The tale of the great and lonely god
If a spirit inhabits an object that has come in contact with a human and it's blood... that spirit becomes a goblin.
A long time ago there was a man. His sword had tasted the blood of thousands of men.
His name is Park jimin.
A warrior and a hero for his country. He was like a god to his people.
Invincible
He and his army fought for days towards their victory.
Once they returned they were greeted by the town.
Everyone had loved him. They thanked him over and over again.
But there was only one person who envied him and despised him.
It was no one other than the king himself.
The king feared jimin and with his apprentice near his side, he grew to hate the "hero".
The king had sent his men to retrieve jimin as soon as he returned.
Once he was inside the palace jimin had saw his love knelt on the ground with arrows pointing directly at her.
Her family was near the kings men, tied in rope with swords near their neck.
"Park ji Min you are under arrest due to murder of the princess and her family's death" the kings apprentice said.
"What are you doing" jimin asked the king
"How dare you speak to our king like that" the apprentice said.
Jimin has placed his hand on his sword as he watched the arrows point toward the love of his life.
"Move any closer and she will die" the king had said.
The princess look at jimin with an calm expression.
"Jimin, go to him, what he is doing is unjustified. If I have to die, then so be it." She said smiling towards him.
"I will die in honor"
Jimin gripped his sword, as the king watched displeased.
Walking forward he watched as they be headed the princess family before shooting an arrow directly at her heart.
Infuriated jimin pulled out his sword.
"What are you doing? Kill him" the king shouted.
The kings men ran at him only to be slaughtered.
"Park ji min, if you take another step we will murder this whole town" the king said
Jimin has stopped in place glaring at the king.
"You would murder the whole town...just to stop me?" He questioned
"Yes" the king said.
This angered jimin. He was about to attack when he realized that his actions would in danger those he loved the most.
He loved the town.
He wouldn't risk letting more people die for him.
He looked back at the princess before looking at the green ring he had gave her.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered before kneeling to the king.
The king made a signal for the men to give him a sword.
Slowly walking towards jimin, he placed the sword directly into his heart.
After that day people began to lose happiness. In order to honor him, they placed the sword he once held at his grave.
They went to his grave everyday and prayed for him.
The gods had saw this and resurrected jimin.
"It seems that your subjects have saved your soul" the gods said
"But the blade you once held is stained with the blood of thousands of my creations."
"immortal and alone you will watch your loved ones die before you, not a single one of their deaths will be wiped from your memory."
"The blessing I give you is also my curse to you."
"Only the goblins bride may free you from you're curse."
"She shall release you from you're misery and kill you by taking the sword you once held out of your chest." The god said. Before vanishing.
Park jimin was now a goblin.

Sunmi was walking down the street staring at the snow while smiling to herself gripping her scarf.
She was too in thought to have realized that a car a swerved around the corner.
Before she knew it she was being thrown into the air.
Landing hard onto the concrete. Blood started to leak from her head.
The car drove off at full speed.
"If you are ever in danger and your life flashes before your eyes...pray" she recalled the old lady saying.
"Help...please someone" sunmi whispered.
"I can't die like this" she said coughing up blood.
Jimins p.o.v
I was peacefully sitting on a rooftop drinking some coffee before I heard a voice.
"Help..please someone"
I sighed before laying down.
"Ignore it jimin, I cant help a human who's dying. It interferes with works of god." I said to myself.
"Please...I can't die like this" the woman said
"Don't mind it jimin." I kept telling myself.
I sighed to myself before standing up and jumping off the roof top.
I walked to the source of the voice and found a woman lying in her own pool of blood.
She looked up at me her eyes slightly closing.
"Help me please" She said
I look at her for awhile contemplating on what I should do.
" I can't help someone who's fated to die." I said.
She gave me a questioning look before asking Who I was. I only gazed at her.
" I just need some time, please...help me, help us" she said.
"Us?" I questioned before looking down. I sighed at her before turning my head.
"You are lucky to have come in contact with a weak hearted god." I said before kneeling down.
I placed my hand over her face putting her to sleep before taking her to a hospital.
