A smile

My lips twist into a saccharine smile

Forcing faux serenity through the bile

You may reach for my heart, but you'll find only air

I'll never be Beauty, Beauty was fair

You open your mouth to say "I love you"

But such words could never be true

Take your pathetic lies

Please don't even try

I can't pretend anymore

Can't fake I'm not at war

I'm void of feeling

Unlit within

I'll twist your emotions

Make you wish you'd never been
