What is your opinion?
A sad, horrifying tale.
"When you are on your mark, I felt the experience, especially regarding Lucy. Some of the best writing I have ever read. Other parts need more polish, like chapter 10. Your writing in "Bean" is definitely an upgrade from "Haunted." Your on the right path. I like the plot of a modern woman enduring harsher times. I suggest developing the concept of what it means to be woman. I am interested in the philosophical aspects of gender. Our present society is trying to eliminate gender -- at least it appears that way. I don't know if that's a good or bad idea. I think there is something distinct that is female and something that is male. I think our society is trying redefine gender as something more than just male and female. Society has always constructed roles for the society to survive. It helped in the past and it was usually unfair for women. In tribal societies, women did ninety percent of the work (plus reared the children), while men only had to protect, hunt or fish, I don't necessarily agree that is the way our society should go. Women in most or all societies usually get the worse of the deal. I understand the problem of labeling and the ideas of conformity. I'm not one for labels as well. My experience pertains to beliefs and hate it when someone says "I'm this religion because of my beliefs." I understand that gender and beliefs are different. I do think there is a series in the making. You should develop this story further. Women can be leaders and hero's, Can Lucy save herself? Does she have to have Bean save her?"
Bean
