An Imperfect relationship with an inner-self was important for Amelie and this happened until she met Steve and Peter. Imperfect is a new perfect. We believe that happiness, love is the next place, the next job or with next partner, you will never find happiness and love anywhere until you get uncomfortable with the differences of people and be selfless with your needs. Be more giver than a taker. Amelie’s uncomfortableness with herself first and imperfections around her led to the path of self-love, love. Love is when someone else’s happiness is more important than your happiness. Self-love is not selfish unless and until you don’t show it to others. Loving someone unconditionally is all about serving the needs of those around you or the person you love. Love is all about affection, compassion and empathy. How Amelie stopped looking for perfection and focused on building a solid relationship with herself first and then only she can build with others and help them. Her relationship with Peter and Steve in a different situation made her understand that ‘Me’ is not important ‘other’ is what important in any relationship we hold with people. This she understood by indulging in a relationship with herself. It will make us uncomfortable but that will give you autonomy from everything.
