Chapter 1
Why am I trapped here? Someone help! I heard the wind blow faster then usual. The fire blew up due to the wind speed picking up. When will they come back? Im alone in this dark and scary place. I got up from my resting place and went to use the bathroom when I heard a whoosh noise.
My eyes shrunk. What could that be? I heard the door to the cabin open, I got up and hid under the wooden bed.
“Find the kid.” said the weird voice.
I pulled my knife out of my back pocket just in case they found me and I needed to protect myself.
“Check the bed.” My eyes shrunk again is this it I asked myself am I gonna die? As the guy checked the top of the bed I pulled out my sword. “Swoosh.”
I pulled my sword out and was ready I saw the guys head coming down towards the bed I charged! “Aghh!” I went for his thigh and cut as hard as I could. One of the men had a pistol he pulled it out and started shooting at me “Pew pew.” I got up and ran after him dodging all the bullets coming at me I turned and twisted and once I was behind him I ran my knife straight at his back but during that moment in time a young girl came in from of him and blocked my hit. “Heh.” she said not bad pretty close if I do say so myself.
My eyes shrunk once more my knife was swinging in the air as my hand stood still she swung was I gonna make it or was I to slow. I went to the right and ran at her and kicked she blocked with her sword. “Cling.” I smiled I never had a battle like this a 3 against one this is gonna be fun! I turned grabbed my knife and charged at her. The guy behind her shot at me. Something was wrong it was like I was in slow motion I could see all the bullets slowly coming towards I went past all of bullets the and was one more inch away from the girl. As I came towards her I noticed one more bullet coming towards me “Did I have enough time to dodge it I asked myself.” I ran faster as the bullet flew near my head I grabbed my knife and put it on the right of the bullet. The bullet went towards the girl now that I made it shift. Things felt faster. Speed was coming back. Everything got faster and was back up to speed the bullet came towards her head. That moment in time a guy with white hair jumped in front of her and took the bullet. “Agh!” he fell to the ground her eyes widen. The girl looked angry and upset. The girl looked as she was about to kill someone. The strange girl dropped to her knees. I stood there at the body below me. I have to go I told myself I ran out the door with my eyes widen. I protected myself I said I did what I had to do. I came to a stop when I came to a ton of trees and notice a bomb fire. I hid behind a nearby tree a looked on the side. I saw a couple of people with guns and noticed a couple swords on the ground.
“Do I attack?” Hmmm I said to myself. I pulled out my sword and jumped out everyone in the group near the bomb fire got startled and pulled out there weapons. I ran straight at them with no plan. I pulled out a gun I took from the cabin and started shootings. The people started shooting back. A bullet flew right next to my head but I wasn’t worried I could handle. I shot a few bullets but there was way too many of them. I jumped up grabbed my sword in mid air and threw it at one of the guys. Then I pulled out my gun and started shooting when I landed. “Bang” Gun shots flew back and forth. I started dashing towards a guy in a black jacket and grabbed his shirt and lifted him up and slammed him on the ground. “Bang.” He hit the ground and I turned around and saw a bullet coming right at me. As soon as it was about to hit my head someone grabbed me and threw me aside. I looked up it was my partner Klyde. “Finally your back” I said he looked at me and smiled let’s do this. Klyde smashed a smoke bomb and grabbed me and ran. “How many did you take out?” He asked. “3 to 5” I said “That was pretty dumb a 20 vs 1 not a good idea.” “Whatever “ I said. While we were running I notice we were heading into a forest and things started getting quiet which made me feel weird. Klyde and I kept running it had to be pretty late “Should we stop?” I asked “Nah we’re gonna keep going for a bit” Alright I said. “Crackle” “Boom” I saw thunder in the sky and rain started pouring down on us. As another flash struck I noticed a figure ahead of us and as soon as the lighting faded away the figure disappeared in thin air. “We gotta get out of here something isn’t right.” I said I pulled out my sword just in case. “Keep your guard up” Klyde said “You noticed the figure too I asked?” Yea he said i’m not getting a good feeling about this. As we were running I heard a crackle but it wasn’t lightning it was something around us I looked up and noticed a all black figure come straight down at me with a sword. I pushed my sword up and our swords hit each other. “Cling” The figure jumped and landed on his feet and charged at me Klyde came rushing at him and I did too. The figure grabbed a weird shiny and green thing. It almost look like a pearl. The figure grabbed it and slammed it and as he was disappearing he said. “I’ll be back” Klyde and I stood next to each other with our swords. “Ugh” I said. Rain hit my head over and over I was tired and felt horrible. I fell over and closed my eyes and took a deep breath. When I opened my eyes the sky was clear and everything was bright. “Did I fall asleep I asked Klyde standing next to me?” “Yep” he said. I started laughing it only felt like 10 seconds.
