"There's nothing worse than death." This were old lady's Henson favorite words. Ever since Ellarya was a child she'd hear this words, and ever since she was a child she'd understand this words, her parents had died even though she didn't knew how.
There were many theories. Amongst all she heard, her favorite was the one everyone believed to be the truth. Everyone believed her mother had died during childbirth, and that her dad seeing her rip apart her mother's body giving her a slow painful death, decided that he'd never leave such monstrosity walk through the face of the earth, so, he picked up his sword ready to rip his daughter's heart out, but, with nothing but only a look she left her father petrified giving him a fate worse than death.
Each time Ellarya heard the silent whispers of the ones who thought they knew the truth, she couldn't help but smile, how so many people would believe that was the truth was a mystery she didn't intend solve. As a child she used to believe the stories they told about her birth and the death of her parents, until old lady Henson found her crying and made her a promise.
"When wolves howl to the moon and the goddess bleeds, you won't burn, you won't suffer, you won't feel, the moment will come, but until then don't believe in stories and don't think about your parents. Survive, for there's nothing worst then death."
