Void
My eyes locked for a brief second with hers. Our hands clasped together, as I strained to hold the sphere around us. A tear rolled down my cheek and fell out of the sphere into the void around us. I held the barrier with all my strength. Why had I gone? Why was she here? This must be a dream. But she is here, with me. The thing is, our demise is inevitable. I close my eyes fighting for each second. I feel everything locked in the remains of what I have done. Her shaking hand touched my face and wiped the tear from my cheek.
"Dont cry" she whispered,now there were tears bleeding down her face too. Her hands clasped around my chin, my strength was fading faster now. I strained against the void. Our fate could only be delayed for a few more moments.
"The end is together" I said still fighting in the fading light. Her face became shadowed as the light slowly left, pulled into the void. The last of my strength was fading. She nodded in the closing of the light. With what would be my final movement, I wrapped her in my arms and our lips collided together in the eventual nothingness. My sphere collapsed and everything was gone. In a wash of void, we were swept away together.
