Stella Thorn's life was one push away into an irrevocable chaos. It was all it took for her to feel as though the world would be better off without her, or better yet — six feet underground. Stella takes her fate into her own hands, unaware of fate playing a waiting game with Stella's miserable life.
After being dunked into a parallel universe, her life is literally turned upside down. It's her luck, however, that she loses a part of herself after being plunged into a foreign world filled with danger in every corner. Now she only wonders if a life after death is anything better than the torturous life she was living, despite living in a world filled with smiles and blissful ignorance.
But even all of that combined is nothing compared to the arrogant and beguiling Levi Maddox that has tilted her whole world off its axis; a man who's made it his personal mission to both torture and please innocent Stella. It's no secret he's got her wound tightly around his finger, and she's not so sure she wants to ever be let go.
