Prologue

Prologue :
I ran inside my house when I heard my sister and mother screaming.
I saw them both lying on the floor, curled up in the pool of their own blood. My monstrous father was kicking both of them.
"Dad just stop hitting!! "i screamed at him in anger. Just few more minutes and my uncle William come with the police , I thought.
"How dare do you order me bastard?!" he raised his knife and made a huge cut from my chest to stomach.
If only i were a little stronger, I'd have protected my mother and sister from this monster.
The main door flew open and police rushed inside the house as i was still thinking.
I helped my mom and sister to the ambulance and my father was arrested by the police.
"I'm sorry son, I'm late. You should get that wound stitched soon. " Uncle William said. He's the father of my best friend,Drake.
If i only knew i could ask for his help earlier, we wouldn't have to suffer all these years.
"Lio!" My friend came running towards me and gazed at my wound. His face turned worried and angry at the same time "Don't worry bro, that moron will be punished. My father will make sure of that. "
I didn't reply anything. A Tear drop fell across my cheek as i was worried about my mother and sister....
