he said as he left the room. This was the last straw, she wore her usual outfit, striped green shirt and brown shorts, she brought along a knife, for protection, for she was going to climb the mountain of monsters, and see if the monsters there were real.
Chara scratched her knee as she slipped on a rock, surprisingly, she hadn’t died climbing the mountain. People were always saying that those who climb the mountain never returned. She didn’t care, but as she looked into the hole at the top of the mountain, she had a wad of doubt, she tried to shake it away, but it was no use, she was going to look further in but alas, her foot had been caught in a vine and she fell in. Chara thought,
Well, if I’m not gonna die in the village, it’s best to die here at least
she closed her eyes, expecting to feel a sharp jab of pain, but she didn’t, she couldn’t open her eyes, fearing she might find herself a ghost, but when she finally opened her eyes, someone was holding her, but she did not see their face, she closed her eyes, tired because of what have happened...
