Fun, action packed romp

"Unexpected Complications drops you right into the action and doesn't let up. Fair to say the title is an accurate descriptor of what the protagonist experiences. Kim presents a vividly imagined world inhabiting the fringes of society where the most important survival traits are street smarts and a quick reflexes. The connection with his previous work, Happy Collateral was a pleasant surprise. I can only hope the author chooses to write more stories set in this universe."
