Summary

Fucking shizzleknack.” He hissed and glared at the ground, wanting it to open up and swallow him whole, god he was embarrassed! He felt his face burni “I prefer the darkness and loneliness in the world rather than being with people who pretend they care. It’s better to have solitude by myself.” “Yeah, that’s pretty deep man, like, it’s deeper than my asshole—fuck, I wasn’t supposed to say that, Uhm, sorry dude.” In which socially awkward Miles Damon found himself stuck in the art room with the school’s bad boy, Zachary Johnson.

SCENE #1: SCHOOL CAN SUCK MY BALLS

It was a peaceful morning—really it was, well, if you count the screeching baby downstairs with an annoying howling dog next door, yep. It was a pretty peaceful morning for a sleep deprived Miles Damon who was now groaning and spouting curses under his breath as he reached for his glasses on his bedside table.

Sighing he starched up his limbs with a satisfying crack as he stretched his neck. He yawned and scratches the back of his head and wiped the now dried up drool on his face; Attractive, really.

He got up on his feet and walked towards his bathroom to get started with his daily routine like showering, brushing his teeth and getting dressed for school—which he dreaded.

“Miles! Are you up honey boo?!” His mother shouted from the first floor. Miles groaned as he rinsed his face.

“Yeah!” He shouted back, slightly cracking up. “I’m up!”

“Good, I don’t want you being late again, I swear if I get another call from your school complaining that you have been late again I’ll freaking whoop your ass this time!” his mother threatened which made him laugh as he started getting dressed, He picked up a navy green colored shirt and paired it up with his comfortable track pants and vans. He picked up his abandoned bag from yesterday and made his way downstairs where he spotted his mom organizing papers on their small coffee table.

“Good morning mother.” He greeted. Walking towards her and kissed her head. She smiled, her eyes wrinkling as she did so.

“Good morning Hun, your other mom just finished making breakfast, go and eat while she’s taking care of Sophie.” She replied and focusing back on the papers she was organizing. Miles knew from the beginning that they were not an ordinary family with a father and mother. She had two mothers and they adopted him when he was two from the orphanage and now, they recently adopted Sophie, a cute and adorable three-year old baby that both Miles and his mother’s adore.

Miles went to the kitchen, taking his mother’s advice and ate breakfast while his other mother tended to their youngest. Miles ate in silence which he pretty much preferred, that was until her other mother barged in the kitchen with a giggling Sophie in her arms.

“Miles!” Sophie screeched and wiggled her way out of her mother’s arms. She ran towards him with open arms, giggling when Miles lifted her.

“Good morning little princess.” He greeted with a smile and kissed her cheeks which made the toddler giggle even more.

“Good morning Miles!” She greeted happily, giggling and bopping Miles nose which resulted the teenager to wrinkle his nose and stuck his tongue out at his sister. Sophie gleefully cheered and tried to catch Miles tongue thinking it was game. This continued on for a few seconds when their other mother blew up.

“Miles Damon! Get to school now or I will really snatch your PS4 this time and not hide it at the back of our closet!” Her other mother threatened, her eyes glaring holes at the teen while her arms were crossed. Miles almost laughed at the sight of her other mother, she was barely 5’2 in height and the scowl in her face looked like a shiba dog who was trying to intimidate someone.

“School can suck my balls.” Miles spouted and was completely dumbfounded when he processed what he just said.

“Yes! School sucks balls!” Sophie cheerily followed after her brother, flapping her arms around giggling. And that was when Miles knew, he fucked up, big time.

“Angela!” Her mother screeched, her face was beet red and Miles knew, his mother was mad. “Come here and fucking whoop you son’s ass!”

“I’m coming Marie!” Her mother, who was at the living room now known as Angela, came running in the kitchen with a paper in her left hand and a slipper on the right. Miles set Sophie down her high chair and grabbed his bag, and dashed out the back door faintly hearing the screams of Angela and Marie’s footsteps following him. Miles ran long enough to know that Angela had stopped following him and now he can’t hear Angela’s curses.

Miles stopped at the bus stop and crouched down to catch his breath, it was a good thing he was the only one in the waiting shed and it was really still early for him to go to school. He just told his mother that he has classes at six in the morning when in truth, his classes begin at eight.

The teen sat down at one of the benches and sighed, searching for his earbuds on his back, and when he found it, it was in a tangled mess which made him groan and curse at the earbuds for being unruly and fucked up. Once he fixed the problem, he plugged the bud on his ears. He fished his phone on the back of his jeans and connected the earbud, he tapped on the music icon and played the music he was listening to last night which was Twenty one Pilot’s new album.

Miles smiled as the music flowed through his body, he closed his eyes and bobbed his head to the beat and occasionally mumble out the lyrics of the song. He was happy being alone with music as his only company. Miles waited for fifteen minutes when the bus arrived, he stood up and the bus stopped in front of him. The doors opened and he walked inside, going in to the back of the bus and sat down. Humming to himself since the bus was still empty.

Soon enough, the bus was filled with rowdy and moody teenagers. Miles sighed to himself, wishing he could have his car soon since Angela had confiscated it when Miles came home drunk. Let’s just say that Miles got an earful about ‘drinking while driving can kill you’ shit and he was thankful that Marie was there to stop her wife rambling on until the New Year.

Miles smiled at the memory and sighed to himself, reality finally hitting him when the bus stopped at the school gate. Miles stood up and dashed out the bus the moment the doors opened.

“Another tiring day in school.” He groaned and fished out his phone at the back of his pocket, checking the time. 6:40. Great! He smiled and walked pass the teenagers who were abnormally hyper early in the morning. Ugh. If school was a person, they can suck his balls.
