I never thought pain could ever feel like this, never believed the ones who care about you could break your heart so badly, that you lose any hope of mending it. It’s funny how at the beginning we all blame others for our pain, but in the end we say ‘Everything happens for a reason’.
And maybe it does. Maybe my best friend kept on lying to me for all these years because she doesn’t want me to go through everything I went before. Maybe there’s a whole other reason, and everyone is still laughing, lying behind my back. I don’t know. And how would I?
After all, I was the Cinderella, looking for a Prince Charming.
