RiverPaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and use what your mentor has thought you to be the best warrior you can?” SnowStar said at my warrior ceremony. I was so exited I could barely answer.
“Y—-es!!!!”
“Then bye the power of StarClan I give you your warrior name: from this day onwards you shall be known as Riverlight.”
“YAY!!!” I nearly screamed with joy. Today I, RiverLight, was officially a warrior of NightClan. It was the best day ever! My mom, LillyPad, and my sister SnowShine we’re celebrating our ceremony bye feasting on rabbits we planned to catch together. Me and Snow were SUPER exited. But we had to take the other new warrior, ShatteredGaze, hunting with us. Which really didn’t matter to me anyways he was so sweet and caring and just amazing!! I always looked forward to hunting with him. That was until I had a dream from StarClan... they gave me a prophecy that said “ when the time has come you shall be above the rest but be warned River even the brightest stars fade away bye storms. I” I was so scared that I woke up and was dizzy throughout the day.
Then it was even worse, I fell asleep the night after only to be awonken byeanother message: “River, soon your gaze will shatter and your blood will be as cold as claws that kill,you will be sent into a shadowy bracken and pierced bye fangs as sharp as stone.. be warned River even the brightest stars can be faded into nothingness.”
