Chapter 1

Meave breathed heavily as she looked down at the body of her father. His cold dead icy blue eyes stare back at her dark green ones, she clenched her fists and growled.

“Finally,” she muttered, “You’re gone.” a gleeful smile spread across her pale pink lips as she finally took notice of the drying blood on her arms. She had blood all over her arms and legs, her clothing was soaked in blood along with sprinkles of blood across her face.

Meave groaned, “Darn it, I actually liked this shirt.” she muttered. She eventually got out of my kneeling position and kicked her now dead father in the ribs.

She growled at him. Meave is now the alpha of this pack so help her, she will have anyone that wants to challenge her in the same fate as her father. She hated his guts, more than anything really.

She dragged his body to the river nearby and threw his body into the river. Blowing a raspberry at it in the process. She made her way back to the pack, the children were hiding behind their parents as they bowed their head to the new alpha, which wouldn’t settle that well with the older pack members.

She looked at everyone, “Anyone want to challenge me?” she snarled. Glaring at the crowd, no one moved a muscle. They were all terrified.

She smirked, “That’s what I thought.” she muttered and walked off, determined to get this blood off her body. It was getting annoying now.

She sighed as she walked into the Alphas home, it reeked of her father. She turned her nose from it, she was going to have to redecorate it, which sucked because she wasn’t much of a decorator anyway.

Meave undressed in front of the mirror. Bruises littered across her body from the fight. She looked at her blood-soaked clothing and stepped into the shower that she had already turned on, a sigh escaping her lips. Her long platinum blonde hair sticking to her back as she began washing the blood off.

The blood washed down the drain as she applied shampoo to her platinum blonde hair. Her grey eyes closed, as to keep the shampoo out of her eyes. Rinsing out of her hair before applying conditioner.

Steam had flooded the bathroom from the hot shower and the mirror was fogged as Meave stepped out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel as she brushed her hair that resembled that of a rats nest.

Cecilia laughed with her friends as she brushed her dark brown hair that right now resembled black hair due to it being wet from the shower. Cecilia laughed with her friends as Single Ladies began to blast from the radio station.

Her friend grinned at Cecilia as she danced around, which was more like run around like lip singing the words to a song. Everyone in the bathroom threw their hands up when the queen, Beyonce said to.

They smiled as Cecilia blow dried her hair and curled it. She put on her heels as they got ready for a night on the town. Well, more like Cecilia shamelessly flirting with girls after four shots of whiskey whilst her friends grinded against some men.

Honestly, though, she was more likely to have a one night stand than most of her friends. She was the one that ended up drunk while her friends attempted to bring her home while trying to keep her bruises free from her endless, cheesy, pick up lines she somehow memorized.

It was a tough job and Cecilia usually apologized for her behavior. Usually. Sometimes she wouldn’t even care about the night before. She would just get up and get some pain relievers and just sit there with some coffee as she tried to recall the night’s events. For being a party girl, Cecilia was cursed with being a lightweight. So usually by the third shot, shes already gone and full out drunk

Cecilia smirked as they got into the car. When was the last time she had a one night stand? A couple of weeks ago. She had finals for her first year at college and it was killing her. She just died these last couple weeks. Hopefully, this would put her back in the mood. Hopefully.

When their ride came to the club they went to every time. It stopped and Cecilia got out, showing she was the legal age of 21 and entered. Laughing when the loud music entered her ears. Immediately noting the many females already in the room.

She walked over to the bar, her hips shaking slightly from natural habit. The bartender was noticeably cute, poor girl, probably around her mid-twenties and was stuck as the bartender. She ordered one shot of whiskey to start her off with.

Immediately downing it, ignoring the burning in her throat from the alcohol. She sighed as she looked around. Her friends already flirting with men, obviously only here to get laid. She sighed as she looked over at the bartender. Her eyes looking up and down the figure of the woman.

She smirked at her before ordering another shot, downing it. The first shot taking its toll on her body. She continued to look around, most women here were grinding against men so that kind of got rid of three-quarters of the females in the club immediately. She put a hand against her face as she leaned against it.

A male came up to her, obviously intoxicated and then began shamelessly flirting with her, which just made her roll her eyes. Ordering a couple more shots. The male obviously not getting the hint she didn’t care after she downed the fifth shot.

Her mind was fuzzy as she tried to keep in control of her mind. Trying to get up and male catching her as she nearly fell and she blacked out. She had no recollection of what happened, but apparently, she began to accept the advances of the male as she began to flirt back with him. Her subconscious deciding, why the heck not. She’s bisexual anyway.

When she woke up the next morning, she had a killer headache, which was obviously a hangover as she took in where she was. She was at her dorm, she knew that much and she looked over at the sleeping male next to her and groaned, falling back onto the pillow.

Apparently, she had sex with the male. Several times to be correct. She got up, slightly sore from the night that she just experienced. Flashes of what happened that night appeared in her mind as she made her way to the bathroom, where her pain relievers were.

Apparently, according to what little memory she had of the night, she originally denied him, then started flirting, and you can guess what happened next. She shook her head as she swallowed the pill, making her way back out of the bathroom and towards the living area where she had to pass by the bedroom.

The male was awake, obviously very naked and spotted Cecilia in her robe. He got up and grabbed his things before putting it on and leaving. That was perfectly fine the with her, she was seriously disappointed with herself right now. She just wanted to wallow in self-loathing.

She turned on her phone and she texted her friends. They all answered back with Lenny faces which made her groan. She got up and got dressed. Forgetting about brushing her hair. She was going to head over to her friends’ house.

She was very aware of the supernatural world. Her closest friend was a witch after all. She knew she was a supernatural creature but she didn’t know what. Her family left her to die on the streets and was thankfully found by a caring family.

She couldn’t make potions, transform into a wolf, she didn’t have bloodthirst. She couldn’t pinpoint what she was. She sighed as she got into the car.

Meave had a seriously rough night. She was up all night trying to get schedule a refurbishing of the Alphas house. She managed to book an appointment and was now slowly falling asleep on the desk. She hated this house, it smelled too much like her father.

She let out a growl and she stood up. About to go to the door before she heard a knock, she immediately answered it and looked at the pack warrior was that panting extremely hard. She looked at him, her hand on her hips in a sassy manner.

“Yes?” She asked, raising an eyebrow with the question.

“Alpha, a female stepped onto pack land, we believe her to be a rouge, we have her chained.” He answered quickly.

She scoffed and walked out. Already, on her first day as Alpha, there was a rouge trying to sneak onto her land. She sighed as she made her way into the dungeon. She looked into the first cell and noticed a female.

Meaves’ wolf immediately howled to the moon, well, if it was out. She could already tell that this female wasn’t a wolf but damn it, she was her mate.

She entered and bent down to the woman’s height and smirked at her, tilting her head up, forcing the smaller female to look up at her. A glare on Cecilia’s face as she glared at the stranger.

Cecilia felt sparks dance across her skin when the female touched her chin. But despite this, she glared at her. She had run out of fuel halfway to her friends’ house when she was interrupted with her screaming and honking by a couple of males. She immediately knew they were werewolves due to the calling her a rouge.

Which she wasn’t, well she doesn’t know. She doesn’t know what she is honest. Her glare from her dark green eyes was met by an intense grey, that somehow made her glare falter for a split second.

Cecilia didn’t know what it was about this female, but it made her feel weird inside. Meave looked at the female, studying her eyes which was a dark green, not all that common for regular humans.

“Why where you on my land?” Meave asked.

Cecilia looked at her, “Your land? Sorry but all I know is that a road goes through here and that leads to my friends’ house.” She stated, her words coated with hatred towards the larger female.

Meave rolled her eyes. “Regular excuses.” Meave dismissed. Immediately writing the female’s words off as bullshit.

Cecilia attempted to stand, “It is not an excuse you little mutt.” She snapped.

there is a typo : why were you on my land? as in past tense of to-be. "Where" is used to define places, like "where are you going, - Home"
