Chapter 1

Josh.

He was all I could think about.

And all I wanted to know was what did I do wrong. What did I do to make my Best Friend hate me. What was my mistake this time. I only wanted to make him happy. Why would someone you had known for so long drop you as soon as we entered the 5th grade.

He had always been there for me. He never cheated off of me for answers or anything.

10 year old me never strayed far from the thought of Josh being basically like my long lost brother. The worst pain of my life was when Josh left me. He just dropped me like I was baggage too heavy for even him to hold.

The only problem with him doing that is how selfish it was of him. And to make matters worse, I can't stand being alone. It scares me to no end.

And knowing this is how I really am scares me even more.
