Mystery of Swallow Gardens
"Come on we'll be late!" I hiss at my friend Maria. "Ok Hannah! Are you sure we won't get caught!" Maria whispers. She looked terrified, whereas I was was ready to go into the dark and woods and overcome what was in there. I wouldn't do this for fun! I was dared to do this by Mia and Katylin. They were my other friends. Not much as a friend we just knew each other. Ok I'm lying we hate each other and I dared her to do something terrible. So... here I am! Going to die in the mystery woods. It was nice meeting you!
"What you thinking about?" Maria laughs. "Shut up your gonna get us done!" I hiss at her. "Ding, ding, ding, ding!" My phone went off. I look at my phone to see my messages. " Woah! You actually gonna go to the woods on your own!?" Mason texted me on my group chat "The bestie group❤❤!" Yeah definitely when I don't know half these people! Anyway I text back "Nah I've got Maria coming with me as well!" And my phone vibrates. I see what Jake (a person I don't know) has wrote. "Yeah we all know how scared she is😭😭😭!"
"Yeah I'd like to see you come😠😠😠!" I write in anger (not really). And he writes back "Yeah me and Mason will come for sure😂😂😂!" And suddenly a text pops up saying "What why me?" I laugh and put my phone away to see Maria staring at me with a curious face. "What happened?" Maria asked. "Oh Mason and Jake is coming." I reply. Maria was shocked. "Whyyyy?" Maria yelled just then a creak came from outside. I open the door and there is no one there.
I lock the main door and run into the Velvet red Uber I ordered. The taxi driver stares at us and then says "hmm? What you kids doing and where you wanting to go?" And I reply "Swallow Gardens. Drop us by the woods. A shiver drives down my spine. The woods approach us and i jump out the car. I see Jake and Mason and i run up the them. "Well let's go!" And with that the four of us walk into the dark woods.
I make my way into the dark woods. The other three staggering after me. I regret bringing Jake and Mason. Anyway, I walk further on and a huge shadow appears in the black mist. I walk further on and in the end I'm running. I see that it's a castle. Suddenly Jake pushes me. I gang straight into the door which opens and i fall in. The other three walk in without me. I get up and catch up with them. Out of all the doors, the black and gold door was the only one which stood out. I push Jake as a revenge and he smacks into the door.
The door creeks open and a shadow in the distance caught my eye. Curiously i walk up to it and see a book on a stand. A key is supposed to be used. A glimpse on Masons neck catches my eye. "Mason what did ya get that key?" I say. "Oh I found it outside." He replies. I take the key and open the book. A white flash of light makes me drop.
I wake up. "WHAT!!!" I tell as I find myself back in the room. "What happened?" A voice whispers. I look around. No one is there. "H...hello?" I reply with a worried expression. I can tell because of the mirror infront of me. I grab my phone and text the others. "Heyyyy.... so are you still there or did you randomly find yourself at home?" And soon my phone goes off. "What do you mean woods? When did you go to the woods?" Mason replies. "Never mind then!" I text.
A book appears infront of me. I open it and a writing appears. "Return me to the forest! You only. Your friends have forgotten." "A what now???" I reply. I tear the pages out the book. All goes silent. "Well...I'm of to sleep." I jump into the cozy duvet. Just then a knock on the window wakes me up. I look to see what it is. A ghostly figure us outside.

A knock on the window makes me jump. I look outside to see what it is. A ghostly figure is outside. The window suddenly starts to open. I shut it again and run out. I run into mum's room. No one's there. Suddenly a glass breaks. The echo storms upstairs. I can here footsteps upstairs.
