While other ribbon toil way doing field work, housework, or even expanding their skill of sexually pleasing their potential master she does not. Fox is to not be tainted. When her auction night arrives her nerves found themselves at the forefront and she wonders what her master will be like. She said the aside briefly to ponder the fate of her friend Ruby who just like her livelihood is at stake. As her only friend is whisked away Fox hopes that Ruby will have a better life. She also comes to the realization that is a possibility that she will be stripped of her ribbon. While she does not want to go from a rare and sought after purple ribbon to a common ribbon she makes up her mind as to which would be the lesser of the two evils. Although even among those choices there are a plethora of problems that can arise. If she is stripped of her ribbon she would have to do hard labor. If she is sold she could possibly be sold to an abusive tyrant.

The Auction

Disclaimer and Setting

In the year of 1851 the follow events that you are about to read happened. In this society there is a ribbon system set into place that define some women. All the women that participate in the auctions are 18 years of age and older. Purple ribbons which are a sexual class do not participate in any sexual acts until they are at least at the age of 18 per the law. In Thethia girls who have been sold by their parents are added to the ribbon system and at the time of their first bleeding will be assigned a ribbon class. Four classes exist. These classes are the green, blue, red, and purple ribbon classes. You are about to read the account of Fox the sought after purple ribbon. Warning this story is not for anyone who may be triggered by sexual abuse, rape, and mental abuse.

Fox’s eyes shoot open as she felt her body falling. She hits the hard cold stone floor. ” Wake up! You slept too long they wanted us to be ready!” a hag says as Fox looks up to meet her gaze. Fox gets up and makes her way to a big oval room that was dim in lighting. Her stomach was in knots, she had been dreading this day for what seemed like forever. She remembered being marked with her purple ribbon when she bled for the first time proving that she had reached womanhood. Other girls were marked with blue, green, and red ribbons. Blue was for field and housework, green was cooking, red and purple were for sexual acts. Fox’s ribbon was purple, she was pure. She would easily be someone's personal project. The girls received their ribbons by assessment of their bodies. Blue ribbons were not pretty at maturity, and green girls were decent looking. Red ribbon girls had purple ribbons at once but their masters got bored and sold them for whatever reason. Purple ribbons were few and far between, they were often well endowed. They were treated like the other ribbon classes but their only favoritism was that they received more food to maintain their figures. Fox was the only purple ribbon that they had in a while. The auctioneer made it known that he planned to make a lot of money on her. Fox has whisked to the side away from the blue and green ribbons. She was placed with four red ribbons. One smiled at her; she was named Ruby. Fox often thought of her as a friend. Fox felt bad for Ruby because she was going to be auctioned off. When her master that she was very fond of died, his widow didn't want her around. She chooses to auction Ruby off to make some money. Fox hoped that Ruby would sell. If she failed to, she would be stripped of her red ribbon and made to be a Blue Ribbon. While Fox thought about the events of the night she was dressed by other women. They dressed her in a long sheer purple robe that matched her ribbon. They dabbed her with fragrances, then braided her hair away from her face. The blue ribbons were lined up like cattle and hurried onto the stage. The green ribbons were next. Fox was deep in thought trying to slow her breathing and heart. She felt soft hands grab hers. They belonged to Ruby. Fox kissed them and bid her friend goodbye and good luck. The red ribbons were led onto the stage. She was alone.

Fox’s heart dropped. She was nervous. So many thoughts ran through her head. What if she wasn't sold? What if she was sold to a tyrant? Some woman interrupted her thoughts and guided her to the entrance of the stage. It was dark and Fox couldn't see the audience. ” Walk to the center of the stage,” the auctioneers assistant said. Her heart beat just as loud as the echo the creaking of the wood under her feet made. ” Ladies and gentlemen, what you have been waiting for.... our purple ribbon. Only serious buyers may inspect,” he said. Fox was looked over by a few men. She was instructed to turn around, raise her arms, turn her head, etc. There were only two people left in the line to inspect her and both approached together. She locked eyes with women slightly taller than she was. She looked hungrily at Fox’s body. She motioned for Fox to turn around and Fox obeyed. She was finished turning around when the man that approached the stage at the same time as the woman reached his hand out. ” Let's get a good look at you!” he said in a gruff voice as he attempted to try and rip her robe open. The woman grips his hand and the man lets out a yelp. ” Don't touch her with your filthy hands,” she says with a low voice. The man withdrew his hand and staggered away off stage. The mystery women look Fox up and down again before she swaggered away. ” We will start the bidding now!” said the auctioneer. Fox heard numbers being shouted. With every number she secretly wanted the highest one to belong to the mystery woman. ” Sold!” she heard the auctioneer yell. Fox was then rushed off stage. She was guided to another room with a bed, a table, and chairs. She was scared. She had no idea who bought her. She hoped that it wasn't the rude man that tried to reveal her to the audience. She soon heard the doorknob turn and she began to hold her breath as it opened slowly. Fox watched as the mystery woman strolled in.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters.
