Chapter 1
I am too scared to sleep . It haunts me . Every time I go to sleep .
‘Hey girl ’ Debbie said to me speaking on the phone .
“Hey Deb . How are ya gurl ??” I replied .
‘All good . I have been thinking .. How about we go on vacation since it is spring break ?'
“Sure but where ?” I reply .
‘We can go to that creepy town nearby’
“Deb, If they say it is creepy we should probably not go there”
“Rose please do you really believe in this shit ??”
“Well that is exactly what they say in horror movies”
“This is real life here Rose”
“Debbie I think it's a bad idea”
“It is not like we are going to be all by ourselves .. I will invite Grace and Samantha”
“Fine Debbie we can go”
“That's my Rose !! Get your things packed , We are leaving tomorrow !!”
“It is settled then , Bye Deb”

I put my phone down and lay down. I fell asleep. 2 hours after , I woke up . I didn't pack my stuff , I panicked and began packing quickly . I looked at my phone . 5 missed calls , Debbie , Justin and my dad .
I don't have any time to recall them . I packed my stuff quickly hoping I didn't forget anything. I put my headphones , A couple pairs of clothes , shoes , the house keys and some of my accessories . I look at the clock , It is 9:30 pm already .. I got a text from Debbie . She is saying that she will pick me up at 6:00 am . I need to sleep if I want to catch with them tomorrow morning . My phone rang . It was my dad . I haven't told him about the trip yet . I answer the phone :
“Rose , I called you twice. Why didn't you answer me ?”
“Hi dad , I have been very tired so I accidently slept that is why I didn't answer ”
“It is okay sweetheart .”
“Dad. I have been meaning to tell you something”
“Well , me too sweetheart but you can say first ”
“Dad I am going on a vacation with my friends tomorrow ”
“What , Rose ??!!”
“What is wrong ?”
“There was a family dinner tomorrow sweetheart and you have to come”
“But….”
“No buts . You need to cancel that vacation”
“Dad I really can't .Can't this family dinner be postponed??”
“But Rose ..”
“I am very sorry dad . But we have planned everything out ”
“I will try to , Rose . But where are you going anyway ?”
“We … Are … Going to … This town nearby ” I say fastly hoping for him not to hear . But I immideatly regret it
“Rose, This is too dangerous ”
“Dad we are a bunch of friends together ” I had to convince my father about something I wasn't even convinced about . I guess that's the fee of having such friends
“Be careful Rose . Very careful . That place is dangerous . And don't forget to take your phone with you and fully charge it ”
I remember I haven't charged my phone yet ‘Sure , I will dad ’
“And don't forget to …… ”
He kept saying other stuff I didn't listen to . I was too busy packing my powerbank into my bag.
“okay dad . Bye for now ” I say boredingly.
“Bye Rose . But don't forget to ..”

“Bye but don't”

“Bye Rose ”
I hung up before he says something else . I looked at the clock . IT IS 10:15 PM . I had to go to sleep .. I brushed my teeth . Looking into the mirror , I noticed something odd .
