FIRST PUNCH

Reginald was on his way to work when he saw a poster, "ARE YOU A RAPPER? IF SO, COME TO OUR UNDERGROUND MMA FIGHTS AND YOU COULD WIN $1,000,000!!!"

Reginald had never fought before but he wanted to try and he also needed to pay the rent for him and his girlfriends apartment.

"Hey Mike, you see this?" Reginald asked.

"Yeah bro, thats where me and the boys 'boutta go after we clock out." Mike replied.

That day at work seemed to go by so slow. Hours were days and minutes were in place of the hours.

"GAHHHH!" Mike yells.

"You good dawg?" Shawn asks.

"Yeah, just a little cut from the metal on the car." Mike replies in agony. Reginald could notice that he was in horrible pain but the manager, Jay, had already gotten him a band-aid.

After work, Reginald is thinking whether or not he should go to the MMA battle or not.

"Come on baby, do this for us." Nia says.

Reginald saw that his girlfriend was trying to give him puppy eyes but it wasn't working.

"Okay, but dont be mad when we dont win and I come home with a broken nose." Reginald replies with no confidence at all and snickers.

When Reginald arrived, it made Brownsville NY look like San Francisco CA. He felt a rumble in his stomach and ignored it. Reginald wondered all night who he would have to battle.
