Things weren't always crazy in my life until me and my best friend met our neighbor’s The Dolan Twins. Then there's my boyfriend Garrett Hunt, things used to be great with us, now we're falling apart. He's Noah Ryans best friend, also best friends with Ethan & Grayson Dolan, Garrett is slowly drifting away from his friends though and acting hella shady as well. Jordyn and I do everything together, we shop together, go out partying together and even sometimes dress the same to irritate people. I live to go on adventures with my best friend who's like a sister to me.
Ethan is super nice and we are pretty close, Grayson is a cold-hearted asshole but somehow I have a thing for him, despite being with Garrett. I keep my feelings hidden from everyone and don't really show my emotions, I’m like Grayson in that way I guess.
Garrett Hunt is a drug addict now, he used to only smoke weed, but since he got mixed up with the gang he's changed a lot, he's also abusive and I’m ready to leave him. But he's not going to let me without a fight.
We have Connor James, he's the guy I model with, he helped me start my career, Garrett thinks something is going on between us and there isn't a thing going on with me and Connor.
Alec is the gang leader for The Devils Advocates, The Gang my neighbors are in.
We have Lucas Smith, he's also part of the gang.
There are more gang members to meet but well wait for the party to introduce them.
But let's dive into this lovely story...
I sat on my bed with my best friend, my laptop open in front of me, staring at a blank document the cursor blinking on the page waiting for me to start typing away. Jordyn pulled me from my thoughts,
"Kylie!"
I look up at her, "Yes?"
"You coming to the mall to get an outfit for this weekend?" Jordyn asks me, looking slightly concerned about me.
"Yeah, let me just get dressed real quick, " I say hoping up off my bed and heading for my closet.
Jordyn exits the room and heads downstairs to wait for me, I look through my clothes until I find the perfect outfit, I strip down in my closet and try to avoid starting at the bruises on my ribs and side, oh those are from Garrett, yeah he's gotten a little hands on... I honestly can't talk about it, so I hide them from my best friend and our neighbors. No one but me knows, and Garrett of course.
I shake my head and pull myself out of my thoughts and get dressed.
I head downstairs and grab my wallet off the counter as Ethan, Grayson, Noah, Garrett, and Connor appear in My kitchen. Garrett tries to act normal but it makes me cringe, my eyes accidentally lock with Ethan’s and he looks concerned, crazy for a tough gang banger to look concerned about a girl that isn't his.
Noah gently grabs my arm and pulls me to the side, he pulls out his wallet and pulls out a stack of cash, which he places in my hand,
"You have fun, make sure you and Jordyn get new outfits for the party Friday at The Clubhouse, then grab some lunch on me, I love you, Kylie, you’re like a sister to me, " Noah smiles at me, closing my hand around the stack of cash he placed in my hand.
"Thanks, Noah, " I say and give him a big hug.
He wraps his arms around me, I don't flinch like I want to since I don't wanna tell him about Garrett’s episodes.
"Anything for my best friend, " Noah says and kisses my cheek.
I crack a smile, just for him to show him I'm grateful to have him, Grayson comes over and says,
"Ky, don't forget your pocket knife, " he reaches behind me and pulls it off the shelf and holds it out to me.
I take it from him as I catch Connor looking at me, then at Garrett, then back at me, I look away and slip it into my pocket, "Thanks."
"No problem Ky, " Grayson says causing me to roll my eyes.
I hate being called Ky sometimes, and Grayson loves to call me Ky instead of Kylie, he says 'I love driving you insane it's my job'
I grab the keys to Noah’s truck and smile at my friends
"Bye!"
"Be careful!" they all call out to us.
"we will!" Jordyn says back and we go get into Noah’s truck and head to the mall and get our outfits for Friday night.
We went out for lunch then went home, Garrett and I left for his place. After eating dinner with Garrett I thought we were going to watch a movie, but I was wrong.
"You're a slut, " Garrett spits out.
I look at him and get up saying, "Excuse me? I am not a slut Garrett I would have to cheat in order to be a slut."
That earned me a slap across the face, which made me gasp from the sudden contact, he didn't stop there though, he balls his hand into a fist and punches me in the stomach, I fall to the ground, I hold my stomach as I stand back up and grab my purse,
"Fuck you, " is all I say before running out and slamming the door behind me.
Tears start to run down my face, I shake my head and take off from Garrett’s doorstep as he yells out,
"Get the fuck back here!!!!! It's fucking 1 am!"
I ignore him and start to run faster, my feet taking me far away from him, I make my way back home but don't go inside, I stay on the porch the rest of the night. I was too afraid of my friend asking me if I was okay. I didn’t sleep that night I just sat there staring off into the night until the sun came up.
