"i just am wondering if this story existed during the medieval times when inside a house or castle, there exists a dungeon with caged fierce animals wherein people who are punished are kept imprisoned, made to suffer psychological and physical torture by being fed to the animals. the way the writer described the thoughts and fears of the 2 sisters made me really frustrated because i can only read and imagine what they were going through especially the 7 yr old ruby.. in addition, the writer was able to describe the emotions of sapphair and blake well. it kept me at the edge of my seat."
