Changes with Spring

The first time i saw him i could see the pain in his eyes. I could see that he was feeling his heart being torn apart bit by bit. He was feeling deep pain, not physically but emotionally.

I could emotionally sense his unbearable pain which led me to forget all the pain i was going through. Obviously it was the first time we met but i badly wanted to comfort him as if he was someone dear to me.

As the cold breeze hit my face i realised that i had to leave the place which taught me the meaning of life. I had to start a journey among unknown faces in a whole different environment. I was sad to leave my loved ones but i was happy at the same time seeing myself growing independent.

I got flashbacks of the words uttered by my father "one day, it will be your turn. You will leave home to pursue grander ambitions. You will defy your fear of change, hold your head high and do what you once thought was unthinkable: walk away. And it will be scary at first. But what i hope you'll find in the end is that in leaving, you don't just find love. More than anything, you find you.

Chanel: Dad, i am starting the journey of finding myself. I hope your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever through the heavens door.

Tears started rolling down my face.My hands involuntarily wiped the tears when i heard my mother calling out my name.

Mother: Chanel, its late. You might miss the train.

I embraced my mother and brother into warm hug and headed towards the train station with my heavy heart. I stared at them until i could without blink of an eye.

Different thoughts were playing inside my mind. I was so captured in my thoughts that i didn't realise i reached the city "SEOUL". As the door opened i could see new faces.

I went to the Seoul University and met the principal for my schedules.

Principal Choe: Welcome Chanel! You are all grown up.

Chanel: Thank you Principal!

As i was waiting there i got to know through him that dorm was already packed.

(Principal stood up and greeted the tall man.)

Principal Choe: Good morning director! Let me introduce her. She is the one who got scholarship.

Chanel: g..good..good morning sir!

Director Park: oh! you are the one. Is something worrying you? Why do you look pale?

Principal Choe: Sir, she is having problem regarding place to stay. All our dorms are fully packed.

Director Park: Why don't you show her the out house. It is empty.

Principal Choe: but..but sir keven....

Director Park: just do as i say. Show her the place.

Chanel: thank you director.

I was stunned to see the house. Everything was maintained so perfectly as if it was dear to someone. I threw myself on the bed and i swear the bed was so comfortable and i felt as if i was cuddling with clouds. I took a shower. I went to the kitchen to cook ramen as my stomach was growling in hunger.

Suddenly my attention was caught by the slamming of door. I could hear someone . My thought concluded that it was a thief.

(Chanel grabbed a pan and moved towards the direction from where the sound was coming. She saw a guy speaking to himself looking at his wallet.)
