All these days we spent singing, dancing, crying, laughing while the rhythms of life flowed through us, they flowed through and they passed, and still we couldn't let go. We spent the nights screaming, running, falling into dead silence and then leaping back into the action of the life around us. All we need is truth and yet all we get are lies. Can there truly be more to life than they say? Can souls live on happily when all else has passed away? All these thoughts we pushed away, we lived in our dreams, they were all we knew.
In a world where all is gray we painted ourselves in bright but distracting colors, colors that soon became a headache to look at. We drew everything to us, clutching at the life that comes and then goes. Our dreams were bright, our dreams were of hope, of faith, of love and acceptance. We would wake in the night, envying what we couldn't have! We would snap into another frenzy of madness, singing, we would dance and we would laugh, we would cry, and scream! Because all we want is truth-- but life forcefully feeds us this bitter lie!...
May your blood bloom strong and true upon this broken and rotting decay.
