Shadow’s POV
I took off my dance jumpsuit and got into some other clothes.
I went downstairs. “Mom, can you sing?” Cherri asked. In shock, I remembered I had remembered I had been in quire in high school. “Yes honey, I can.” Cherri said, “can you sing the lullaby YOUR mommy sang to you when you where a baby?”
Alec stopped working, Shade Stopped cooking and my heart stopped.
“Y-yes.” I said
Cherri yawned and I took her upstairs. Everyone followed.
I put her in bed and started singing.

I awoke alone among the waves
In the corners of this blue decay

That in my eyes these shooting stars
Seem to describe us perfectly.
I nearly started crying, Alec was hugging me and shade had gone in a daze.
