The street outside Oakhill house had red and amber leaves scattered unevenly on it. Summer was coming to an end, and the world was showing it. But it's not in the way that you -muggle reader - would find normal. Owls were swooping all over the country, carrying yellow envelopes with acid green addresses on them. This extraordinary event happened each year, at around the same time. 5 barn owls flew towards Oakhill house.
"Dad! They're here! There actually here!" Lily Luna Potter shrieked. She had bright ginger hair and freckles, like her mum Ginny and all the Weasley's. Her dazzling green eyes however were an identical copy of her dad Harry's, and her grandma who she was named after.
The other 4 Potter's, 2 Granger-Weasley's, Ronald Weasley, and the Ministress for Magic, also known as mum and Hermione in this household, came bounding down the stairs.
"Great!" Exclaimed Hermione "I was starting to worry that Professor Mcgonogal had forgotten to send them. She would be in a right load of trouble from me then." Everyone laughed at this and went to open their letters.
"I need a ton of new books and brand new potions ingredients" James sighed. He is the oldest Potter child and an exact copy of Harry. "I'm never gonna be able to fit my skiving snackboxes' set with all that junk in my trunk"
"Hey! It's not junk. It helps you learn. But of course you dont understand the meaning of the word learning" Hermione joked and everyone laughed.
"Of course your majesty" James rolled his bright green eyes.
"Hey, be polite to your aunt" Ginny scolded.
"Yeah, she can get you thrown into Azkaban just like that" Ron clicked his fingers. Hermione frowned at him but everyone else laughed. Everyone returned to their letters, making lists of things they would need. Lily couldnt contain her excitement about Hogwarts, and she was bouncing up and down in her chair.
Harry noticed this, "Stop it Lily, you look like Hermione in class." Harry saw the look on Hermiones face and added quickly "Not that it's a bad thing of course."
"Lily and Hugo, were gonna take you to Diagon Alley after to buy your stuff, as it's your first year and everyone else will stay at home" Ginny said.
Hermione Granger And Ron Weasley had two kids - Rose Granger-Weasley, a very smart Gryffindor (who everyone thought would be in Ravenclaw) who was just like her mother, exept for her looks; she had blue eyes and ginger hair, which was always in a plait down her side. Their sons name is Hugo Granger-Weasley who was best friends with his cousin Lily. He is hoping that they will both be in Gryffindor, so as to not break the family tradition, but he has a feeling he might be put into hufflepuff and is rather upset by this.
Harry and Ginny Potter have 3 kids - James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Lily Luna Potter. The naming was quite simple - they named their children after important people for Harry, and in Lilys case too both her parents, as Luna was Harry and Ginnys best friend. Lily often tells people to call her Luna, but around her close relatives and friends, and Luna herself she is known as Lily.
The rest of the day was spent at the Potters house, which was more like a mansion, which they dont like too brag about. Lily and Hugo went to Diagon Alley with Ginny. They both got an owl each, but ended up sharing one as Lily owl went off for a flight as soon as she was brought out of the shop, and Lily wondered if she would ever see her owl again. When they got everything they needed, they went to "Weasley's Wizard's Wheeze's", the shop theiruncles George and Ron owned.
"Take these extendable ears - me and Ron have just reinvented them - no charm can stop them now!" George whispers to Hugo, who grins from ear to ear, taking the flesh coloured strings which were apparently extendable ears, which let you freely eavesdrop on people from far away.
"Thanks Gergie" sais his sister, Ginny "now we'll never have a private conversation."
"Your welcome sis" George grinned. "And if people ask, you bought them in the best joke shop - Weasley's Wizard wheeze's"
When they got back, it was getting late so everyone went straight to bed, Lily and Hugo filled with the excitement of going to Hogwarts.
