"Would you like more pudding mam?" the nurse says in a high pitched voice.
"No" I say in a flat voice
"You have some visitors, would you like to see them?" The nurse speaks again in her annoying voice
"Sure" I say
My family and my two best friends Beth and Apple walk in.
"Oh My Goodness you are the talk of the school right now..." Apple's voice starts to get lower."Even Seth McKinnley is talking about you, We are going to be soooo famous when you get back" Apple says
I don't know why Apple is even my friend, she just joined Beth and I and never left. Apple was always an outgoing person, she did most of the talking for us. Apple is like a kitten that comes to your house for food and comes back every night then becomes the family cat.
"Why? Why would you do this to your family instead of getting help like a normal person" My older brother Emory asks
Emory has always been the type of guy who had girls lining up for him and I was just his outcast little sister, whom everyone that was weird for liking being on Netflix at 3 in the morning instead of being at a party wasted and hooking up with someone.
"I have my reasons for not wanting help" I croak out
"Marley, you need help baby... I'm concerned about you and your father is too" My mother says
"Everyone just get out" I say slowly and carefully
Everyone starts to make glances at each other and then finally walk out of the room. I start to cry and have yet another breakdown.

Today is a new day the day I go back to school and I have a good feeling that everyone will be staring at me. It's been a couple days since i'v been released. I was released on Thursday and today is Monday. I am dressed in black leggings and a plain black tee. I want to be the most discreet as I can be today since I'll be the talk of the school.
"Mom! Can we get this done already? I want to leave before school starts" I say
My mother has a tendency for driving us to school late. My mother walks down the stairs in a towel and I put a very concerning look on my face.
"Mom just put on your clothes so we can leave?" I say sharply
"That's no way to talk to your mother! I gave birth to you, those long 12 hours of labor was very painful" My mother rants
My mother finally decides to get dressed and I arrive twenty minutes before the bell rings and I notice all these people crowding the hallway. Luckily I have my hoodie on and my head slightly down so hopefully no one will be able to spot me before I make it to my locker.
I walk past the "popular" kids. I start hearing whispers like "Isn't that the girl who tried to kill herself?","We should go talk to her she's probably lonely right now", "I'll go talk to her" I hear a voice say. I look behind me and see a very popular Seth McKinnley walking in my direction. I start to walk faster but Seth starts to jog after me. I eventually give up and stop in my tracks. I turn around to face Seth.
"Listen. I'm very sorry what happened and you can hang out with me and my friends, at this time if you need any friends" Seth smugly
"I have friends, what I do need right now is if everyone stops trying to be my friend, no one cared about me before so why now?" I rant
"I was just trying to be nice to a suicidal freak" Seth says quietly
"You want a freak huh? You're about to get one" I say while look at a girl with a coffee in her hand.
I walk over to the girl and take the coffee out of her hand and start to walk over the Seth and dump the coffee over his head
"You wanted freak you got one" I say sharply
I start walking away to my class when I hear Seth yell
"Game On Freak!" Seth yells

It's lunch now and I'm telling my friends of how my morning went.
"You Did What?!" Apple yells
"I poured coffee all over his head because he wanted a freak so he got one" I say smugly
"You are one crazy bitch you know that?" Beth says
"I know, that's why you are my friend" I say
Beth was more a party person, she's only outgoing when she's has a couple of drinks in her system.
"He was out of line so I put him back in his place" I say quietly
"You sure did put him back in his place" Apple says
"Speaking of Seth he's walking over here now" Beth says
I look behind me and I do see Set walking this way with a carton of chocolate milk in his hand. As he gets closer I dread the chocolate milk running down my face. The cold chocolate milk. Ew.
When Seth gets to his destination he tilts the chocolate milk carton over my head and it pours over me.
"That's what you get for this morning Freak" Seth says sharply
"You just poured chocolate milk over a suicidal girl, How's that going to look on you?" I say smugly
"You poured coffee over the school's star baseball player, How's that going to look on you?" Seth says smugly
"Touche" I say
"Marlene, Oh Marlene Cole you will learn to not cross me ever" Seth says sharply
I gulp when I hear him say that sentence.
"And you're going to learn not to call me a freak" I say sheepishly
"You don't even have the confidence to call me out" Seth says smugly
"Oh, I'll call you out, You man-whore who sleeps around with anyone who wears a skirt, who thinks they're all that, who cares too much about his looks and only does things for popularity!" I yell
"You will regret saying that Marlene" Seth says
