My Alpha Mate

My father marches into my room his face red with anger, his hair poking up in all different directions showing he hasn’t brushed it in a while and his eyes a green darker than I’ve ever seen. He grabs my arm and hurls me across the room. I hit the wall with a thunderous crack, I whimper in pain, tears running down my face. My father takes this opportunity to deliver several powerful kicks to my stomach. I breakout coughing, blood splattering in front of me. He grasps me by the neck holding me up off the ground like i weigh the same as a feather, hatred in his eyes, tightening his grip. I gasp for air clawing at his hands, he doesn’t loosen his grip so instead I pull my leg up and throw a hard kick towards his jewels. He recoils and rolls into a ball on the ground, without hesitation I take this opportunity to run. Down the stairs, out the door and into the forest, huffing and puffing every step getting harder but I can’t stop he’s getting closer and I know for sure he’s going to kill me this time. He’s gaining alot of ground, I push to go faster but I know escaping will be unlikely since he’s in his wolf state and I havent transformed. Fear engulfs me, slowing my steps,abruptly I felt an incredible amount of pain and I collapsed to the ground.

“ARGH!” I scream at the top of my lungs

I lay on the ground unable to move, crying in agony. But after a few minutes I realise the pain is gone. I look back and can’t feel my father’s presence, I gasp shocked. I left my pack, I feel all my energy leave my body, my legs buckle beneath me and I crumble to the ground. Worry engulfing me, I have no home now, i’m a rogue, packless. A small whimper escapes my clenched teeth, the feeling of being alone is excruciating, I don’t feel any connection. I hear several rustles from bushes a distance off, my heartbeat quickens, I attempt to quieten it. I start walking quicker and quicker, hearing the leaves crumble under my feet, my walk converts to a run and then finally a sprint. I should be fine as long as i’m get out of the forest, I look in all directions trying to remember the nearest highway. when I hear the rustling getting louder I quicken my speed, up ahead lies a road, my hope rising i don’t waste time in trying to get there. Just before my feet hit the tar im stopped by a towering beast, a wolf to be precise and a very large one. This presence screams Alpha in all ways, I stare straight into his emerald green eyes, his fur darker then the night sky. The moon emerged out of the clouds and shone on his large beast body illuminating his fur. He was beautiful, i was caught in a kind of trance. Something in my head screamed at me to stay by his side and that i needed him, i tried communicating with my wolf snow but for some reason she never spoke back to me. I was snapped out of my trance when a low growl escaped his mouth, i think he was angry and I was his target, I point in a random direction hoping to cause a distraction. He looked and i dashed out in front of an oncoming car. It stopped just in time seconds from touching me, i walk over to the driver’s seat.

“Can I please get a lift to the nearest town” I look at them with pleading eyes

The man looks at the woman.

“Of course you can sweety

There was a middle-aged man and woman. Both dressed quite nicely the woman had honeycomb hair with small lips and a beauty mark above the right side of her lips. The man had dark brown hair, a beard with the tip touching his shirt, his hair slicked back. I open the door and hop in the back seat, sleep catching up with me I feel my eyelids get heavier and heavier until I can’t hold them open anymore, i’m out.

I wake up to a loud screech, I look out the window and realise that the car was stationed in front of a large mansion. I’m shocked, i look to the front,

“Where am I?“. A slight threat in my voice

“Im sorry but we had to bring you in, it was an order”.

“An order from who?“.

“Our Alpha”.

I gulp in fear, a rogue can get severely punished even killed if they are found in a packs territory. Was i gonna die?. I start to sweat, my wolf starts growing tense. I feel this unstoppable urge to shift but i push it down with all my strength knowing if i transformed now I would be seen as a threat and hunted down and killed. So instead I hop out of the car and plop my feet on the gravel ground, the other two getting out as well.

“Please follow us”.
