Tale of Thana

Once in a while, far within the woods, a question would be heard, “How do you kill a God?”

None spoke of the answer, as they were afraid to state their mind. Humans had no power over Gods, moreover to kill them. Only a God can kill another God. But it was written in Grimoire of the Dawn, a book which held such a power that the strongest warriors were rendered powerless, a way to create the Supreme God.

Supreme God, one who would be graced with Supreme Immortality; one that no other Gods could kill. Humans then grew reckless as their minds were filled with this sole desire to triumph over Gods. By their own hands, they created a being so strong, so powerful that not even Zeus and all the Gods could stand before her unquivering. She called herself Thana, Goddess of Death and Chaos.

Thana was created by humans, yet she wouldn’t even side with the humans whose hands she’d originated from. All along she stood alone, fought countless wars against Gods, Humans, and even Beasts. She won them all.

Countries were burned when she’s bored, people were massacred when she’s bored, Gods became her playthings when she’s bored. She had them all in the palm of her hands, countries beneath her feet, and every creature on Earth worshiped her.

Centuries went by before The Olympians finally found a seal that could harness her. They locked her away in the furthest star, robbed her of her power and sanity, before putting her to sleep with thirteen drops of golden blood; in hope that she never awakens. Because when she does, she will spare no one.
