Summary

Welcome to the devil's playground. - I love you. I said and kissed him. I felt his hands move from my thighs to my back while at the same time lifting my dress exposing my ass. What is he doing to me? He squeezed my butt earning a moan from me. How can a man make me feel so vulnerable? Suddenly he broke the kiss and stared into my eyes, his sinful and dangerous gaze paralyzing me. - I'd kill for you. He said with a serious tone. - Sure. I laughed and leaned in wanting to feel his intoxicating lips on mine again but he pulled away. I looked at him suprised and tried to kiss him once more but this time he gently pushed me. - I'm serious. He said still gazing at me. He wasn't joking anyone could tell by his confidence but I know he wouldn't...right? -Well, let's not let that happen then. I replied slowly decreasing the space between our lips. He once again pushed me making me sigh in frustration. - Do you trust me? He whispered. I nodded my head. -Of course I do. I quickly replied.

Prologue

I didn’t wish for things to end up like this. Me in a room surrounded by agents and there behind the one way glass, the love of my life all chained up. Even though his face was emotionless you could tell how messed up he was mentally. His once innocent looking brown eyes were now filled with madness.

Beside me sat my mother with a serious look on her face, yet it was obvious how thrilled she was seeing the awful man who ruined her precious daughter go to jail.

Suddenly the door to the interrogation room opened and an old man probably in his mid forties walked in and sat across from him. It was lieutenant Anderson, a nice gentleman who I met a few days prior.

The papers he was once holding in his hands were now scattered on the metallic table. He looked up at the suspect and smirked.

-Well, well...what do we have here. said the agent to noone in particular.

-Oh don't play dumb now Mark, you do know who you have right infront of you. replied the suspect.

-Play nice Azrail ‘cause no money can help you get out of this mess. said the agent.

-How are you SO sure about that lieutenant? asked Azrail with confidence written all over his face.

- We have evidence Jake…and lots of it. said Mr. Anderson in a low voice.

Azrail looked at Mr. Anderson with curiosity yet didn’t question him. He looked down at the papers in front of him and smirked maliciously.

-And how are you so sure that I am the one responsible?, he questioned.

-How about we ask that friend of yours hmm? asked lieutenant Anderson while smiling with confidence.

Azrail lost his composure for a second looking shocked, but quickly regained control. He leaned back on his chair and stared down at the agent while smirking trying to intimidate him.

-Friend? What friend? He questioned.

-Oh you know who I’m talking about. Answered angrily Mr Anderson.

-No I don't. replied Azrail.

-Freyja Grey...sounds familiar?

Azrail's grin quickly disappeared, his aura changed. He was mad, no... he was livid. He turned his head and our gazes met, it was as if he knew I was standing there. His gaze left mine and met the agent's once more.

-What did you do to her? He angrily asked while hitting the metallic table with his fist.

-Nothing...yet. If you admit that YOU killed that man then nothing will happen to her. Said the agent.

Azrail was deep in thought for a few minutes trying to decide what to do. He lowered his head and stared at the handcuffs on his wrists.

-I did it, he whispered while looking at the agent again, I killed that man, it was me. Now...let.her.go. he continued.

The lieutenant didn't say anything. He just got up, grabbed the evidence and started walking towards the door.

-Wait... whispered Azrail.

The lieutenant stopped on his tracks and looked over at him.

-I...I want to see her... he said.

The lieutenant stayed quiet.

He looked deep in thought for a second before he smiled.

-How about...no. he said.

-I said I want to see her.

Yelled Azrail while looking at the agent.

Mr. Anderson ignored him and began opening the door but a loud noise filled the room and before you knew it Jake was straggling the lieutenant with the chain of his handcuffs.

Immediately officers rushed in and tried to separate the two men but it was to no avail. After a few minutes Jake released the poor man who was on the verge of dyeing and stared pushing and punching any officer who dared to come his way. This lasted for an hour before they were able to pin Jake on the ground with the help of a taser gun of course.

I felt horrible. The way they were treating him, slamming him on the ground with so much force but what hurt the most, was the fact that Jake was not the man I thought he was...or maybe indeed he was.

I felt a hand gently patting my back. I turned and saw a woman sadly smile at me.

-I would like to ask you some questions. She calmly said.

I nodded my head and followed her to a separate room. She showed me a chair and I took it as a sign to take a sit and that’s what I did. She sat across from me and looked me straight in the eyes.

-Look honey, I understand it might be hard or even weird for you to talk about the last few months but we need to know every little thing that happened.

She said with a warm smile on her face. I averted my gaze from hers feeling a little upset. How could I share all those private moments with a stranger?

-Please sweetie you HAVE to tell me. She said once more.

-Alright. I sighed.

-Thank you. She said relief written all over her face.

I took a deep breath in an attempt to calm down my heart yet it didn’t seem to do much.

-How did you two meet? She questioned.

- Well...in school.

I simply answered.

-I see... Could you maybe..start from the beginning? Maybe even tell me the reason why you talked to him? she quietly asked.

- Oh...yes I can do that.

I whispered and a recollection of old memories filled my thoughts. I knew that I had to tell her everything. I had to share my hellish and sinful story with her and that’s what I did.
