I know we are not lovers

And we're not exactly friends

But sometimes when you hold me and
caress my waist with your hand
I start to remember all those things
we did those nights we were together

I'll probably never figure out
and I may never understand

The way you hug me and rest
your head heavy on my shoulder
The way you take a deep breath
with your face buried in my back
And when you pull me in tight
your weight is always reassuring

Hands always seeking
always near each other
but never having the courage to reach out

We both hesitate
Both unsure of the other

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
