Lucy was always told to be careful around new people because to can never fully know who they are.

When she was about 10 Lucy was told a story about a dangerous Mafia called the wolf mafia and to always watch out for the wolf tattoo that symbolises there group. Her mother was the one that told Lucy, she could never fully understand why her mother told a 10 year old a story about the mafia or why tell her at all. What she didn’t know was that she was trying to warn her and keep her safe because of her fathers stupid mistake. Lucy’s mother know that they are not all dangerous thanks to the fact Damian is now the mafias leader but you can never be to careful and Williams mistake was huge. Now Lucy is 17.

“Mum!! I’m of to school.” Lucy yelled to her mother

“Hold on I need to give you something” her mother said coming down the stairs

“what.... i really need to go.”

“here”her mother said giving her a necklace

“whats this” she said looking at the necklace

“It is a special necklace given to me a long time ago now i want you to have it ”

“It’s beautiful...Why a wolf though” Lucy asks full of curiosity

“The person who gave it to me always liked wolves so they gave this to me to remember them.”

“Okay thanks but now i really got to go” Lucy said as she put it on and run out

“bye” Her mother said

What Lucy didn’t know was that there was another piece to the wolf jewellery the other half to complete the story that only a few know the good beyond the bad.

Lucy’s pov

“Hey Sapphire” i said running up to my friend before giving her a huge hug.

“Hey Lucy...can you let go i need to breath.” Sapphire breathed out as i was hugging her to hard.

“fine” I then let go

“thanks....anyway how was your weekend.”

“it was great mostly chilled out watching movies.” I said with a smile “what about yours you went to visit family right how did that go.” i finished

“it went great though my little cousin has grown up so much she is like half the size of me.” she gave a little chuckle at the end

“Awww i really do need to see her again she was so adorable.”

“who are you talking about now.” a voice said behind us but we could both recognise it from a mile away

“hey lucky” we both said in unison with out needing to look at her.

“yo...hows it going and answer my question.” she said as she draped both arms around me and sapphire

“its going good and we were talking about Annabel Sapphires cousin and how much she has grown.” I answered

“damn and here i thought you were talking about me” Lucky gave a fake pout

“Aww don’t worry your still adorable” Sapphire said with a chuckle

“come on Thea is probably waiting for us at school.” i said

Author pov

they made it to school in about 2 minutes and met up with Thea the four of them being friends since they were kids. They always stuck together through thick and thin. Thea is the oldest but sometimes act the youngest while Sapphire is the youngest but acts like the oldest Lucky and Lucy are the same age and act their age most of the time but they all can be pretty childish.

“what kept you guys so long.” Thea said as soon as she seen the three walking through the school gates

“lucky going on about how she is cute.” Lucy answered

“Oh...That makes sense” Thea chuckled

“whats that suppose to mean.” Lucky pouted

“it means that your always the reason why we are always late.“Sapphire answered

“your meant to be on my side.” Lucky stated to sapphire

“i am but i’m also stating the obvious.” Sapphire said and everyone started laughing

“come on we don’t want to be late to class again” Lucy said calming down from laughing

“come on we’ll be fine” Thea said

“you said that last time and we all got detention we may be in different classes but that all start the same....And personally I don’t want detention again.” Sapphire chuckled and with that they all went to class

Rivers pov

I was doing some intel gathering that my father told me to do to catch someone that betrayed him and this is what i got so far

Reasoning: stole from the wolf gang when they were trying to help him

I also got his address and where he works.

“Dad i found where he lives but i can’t seem to find what he put up if he can’t pay” I yelled to my father to grab his attention

“quit the yelling” My father chuckled coming into my room “try looking into your grandfathers files” he said looking at the computer screen

“okay let me look.” I got in to his files and looked it was a while but I found a file on Williams “here it is okay it looks like he.....Oh my god...WHAT THE HELL.” I yelled once i found what he put up

“what....What did he give in stead.” My father asks getting up of my bed to look at the computer screen.

“it’s not what dad...Its who....Lucy his daughter.” I said a but pissed who the hell puts their child up for collateral

“His daughter now that’s a new low that is one rule we have don’t touch or hurt children.”

“I know so what are we gonna do we have to have him pay it was a lot of money he stole and he has now even payed a little back and how long has it been and how many chances have we given him.” I said

“i know son but we can’t take a kid.” My father Answered

“why not as soon as she finds out that he took to money and why knowing what that money was gonna be used for she’ll probably not wanna look at him.”

“As much as i hate him for what he did we can’t ruin their family... people may think we are bad but only to people who deserve it and i admit we have done many bad things and still do we don’t ruin family’s and we don’t hurt children. We hurt and kill people who deserve that and who have done many bad things.” My father explained

“I know that, that’s why i help you because i understand the reasoning and Williams deserves everything coming to him with putting his child up for collateral. that’s why we have rules and the motto ‘hurt those who betray us and hurt others, kill those who have killed and done worse that most people believe’ i know all that.” I explained

“good we will find another way to deal with this but for now put all this away we got what we need so go chill out you and your friends are going to your new school tomorrow.” My father said

“Alright bye see you later” i said as he left my room

Well then you learn something new everyday people really do put their own children up for collateral.
