It was another regular day for Wendy when she woke up and saw her roommate gone and her room being empty. "Just like my life." she commented on herself. She decided to get ready for the hell of a day she is supposed to go through today. A note caught her attention and she went towards it to get a better look of it.
"Wendy the breakfast is in fridge while the juice box is on the counter. hope you have a good day. -Rose"
"What did I ever do to get a roommate who cares for me this much." Wendy smiled to herself thinking about Rose. She hurried herself towards the bathroom to get ready for work. Working as a manager for 2 years after her post graduation has been difficult for her, working for 6 hours at office and then 3 hours of part-time jobs left her with no personal life.
Wendy frowned looking at her reflection in mirror, "Why am I suffering like this? why did my parents left me all alone without telling me?", with this last thought a single tear drop escaped her eyes and she left the apartment after eating the breakfast while being angry at herself for crying.

"Wendy?" the head chairman called her name out while she hurried towards the office to answer him. "Yes sir?" "Come inside" he barely showed any emotion on his face making her worried. "You have two choices, either trafer to LA branch or resignation letter should be given to me by the end of the day" This new was like a bomb droping on an already damp area.
"Can you please tell me the reason behind it, sir?" she hoped for an answer which would atleast clear her doubts. "Our clients are more in that branch and it needs manager which is experienced." "Sir, I can't transfer. I have my reasons to stay in my home country. Is there any other way?" she was getting nervous about future but angry at this sudden change.
"I am sorry Wendy but I have gotten these orders from my dad to tranfer employee and if they refuse to just fire them." he sighed with sadness and continued "You are my best manager, I won't go against him but I can atleast write a recommendation letter for you which can get you in any company." Wendy was sad but had a bubble of joy inside of her chest as well.
"Thank you very much, sir."

The rest of the she went out to check out different companies which had vacant place for her to apply but sadly after 8th company she lost hope of finding one. She called Rose for asking her to come home early cause she was out searching for job.
"Hey, can you come home early?"
"I can, what happened? are you hurt?"
"I resigned today and I am in search of job. on the plus side I have a recommendation letter from chairman so if I find a company with vacancy I can apply."
"I know a job you might wanna apply to. You are fit for it as you have good amount of experience in managing."
"Really? I am so much greatful of you for this. I LOVE YOU ROSE! "

Wendy wad a bit relieved but had a blick of uneasy feeling in herself about getting another job. She was angry at herself for missing the part-time job today. She entered the apartment with a smile "I am home." She saw Rose on the kitchen counter typing on her laptop "What are you doing Rosie?" Rose shrugged and looked up and said "I was sending your resume and recommendation letter to the company I work in."
"What?" Wendy never thought it would be done so fast by Rose because she is lazier than a sloth. "By the way I never got to know which company you work in and what do you do. care to tell me now?" she sat next to Rose and smiled at the efforts this girl was putting for her. "I work at an idol company as a make-up artist."
"Oh, thats why you always rush to work in morning and at absurd timmings in day."
"Thier are vacancy at Idol manager place, I don't know what it is called so, yeah"
"Thank you, Rose!" Wendy hugged Rose tightly and went towards the self with books to grab one but Rose beats her for that, she wasd now standing infront with arms crossed.
"Excuse me missy, you have to sleep now because you are catching a ride to interview tommorow with me." Wendy groaned loudly and went to bed to sleep this early and wonders how can she sleep at 8 pm but it doesn't take any extra second for her to get into deep slumber.
"She overworks herself just to pay off the debt of her assholes of parents who are somewhere else enjoying life." Rose frowns and closes the door for her room and goes to bed for sleep. Rose feels as if she is betraying Wendy by not telling her many things.
She feels excited to get her roommate at her workplace. Wendy has to go for interview just as a formality because others might feel its unfair but the recommendation letter did majic as she was accepted with minutes and Rose knowing her personally made it even more helpful.
